I was sitting in my homeroom, talking to my friends, when we turned the T.V. on and all over the news was how a plane crashed into the WTC. Right then, I really didn't think much of it. I thought it was just a freak accident, because no one really knew any facts yet. Once I went to second period, the facts started coming in, and everyone was shocked. The whole swimming class was sitting in a little corner in front of a small T.V. next to the pool. Then all of a sudden, another plane flew intothe second tower. No one knew what to think. A few minutes later we learned of an explosion at the Pentagon and that another plane had crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. The whole classroom was in a panic, and some people were even crying. It was total chaos in the school. Then during lunch my mom came and picked me up from school. Even though no one i knew was killed in the attacks, it still changed my life. School security was tightened and airport security was tightened, too. The terrorist attacks of 9-11 will always be a tragic day in American history, and will never be forgotten.
