Tell us your story: I had just droped my daughter off at school that day on Miami Beach We usually listen to a kids radio station called Radio Disney but that morning I didnt put it on yet. I have a favorite staion I listen to which is the Y-100 Morning Show with Kenny & Footy. They Usually joke around in the morning playing practical jokes saying stupid things people do etc; Well they began to say that a sesna crashed into one of the twin towers so I didnt think anyting of it so I took it lightly until they said another plane crashed into the buildng then at the same time my husband called me on the cell to see if I had heard the news. He told told me it was a terrorist attact. I was in shock I immediately made a uturn to race back to get my daughter out of school. To my shock I was not the only parent half of the school parents went to pick u[p their kids that morning. Werushed home to see the news! I was in complete denial even though I was seeing it with my own eyes the terror that went thru me to see people running in the streets the buildings coming down the people asking if anyone have seen their loved ones still sticks to me as if it was yesterday! I am a very emotional person I just sobed when reality sunk in. I was devastated even thuogh I did not have anyone that was in the devastation.My heart goes out to all of you whom I know no one will forget God Bless You We Will Never Forget !
