911DA Story: Story
I am a native New Yorker who has traveled all across our beautiful country, America. But my heart has always belonged to New York. Our family, being Military has always kept our pride in our America very close to our hearts.
On September 11, 2001 shock and dismay took over our quiet morning as we looked at our television in horror as the tragedy unfolded. One of my fondest memories of my childhood, the pillars of our financial prowess, was the target of unspeakable murderous intent. This unforgivable act has forever left a wound in the heart and souls of our nation. I weep for the loss of all of the people that were lost, all of the families whose lives will forever be affected by this tragedy, and for the people whose futures are still uncertian.
My childhood love of my New York will always be in my memories. When I think of Manhattan I will always see the World Trade Center, just as I will always see Liberty and all of the landmarks that make my hometown unique.
I have endless prayers for all of us who have lost because of this tragedy, as well as my deepest wishes for bright futures for all.
