I remember being in my kitchen and I was learning a dance routine with my friend Stuart,he was in a rush to get to an audition and had to get ready,he went upstairs whilst i carried on about my business,he had obviously turned on the television,he shouted for me with the urgency in his voice i knew it was important..there was a live still on the screen,no sound the first plane had struck and there was this image of the first tower on fire..i just said to stuart
"Is this a film" as I said that the second plane struck..my heart was in my stomach the sheer magnitude of what was unfolding infront of us was unbelievable (still is)..
"Please god don't let there be people in there" was going through my head,knowing only two well there must be..We sat silent watching the events unfold..
The events of that day have been scared into my memory and I think about it probably every day.
Now when i see the film footage it's still seems unbelievable but sadly..I like to believe there is a God and understand many people find great comfort in their faith
but I'm sorry he's got some pretty big explaining to do to let so many innocent people and their families suffer in such a horrific way.
