As I was walking into my seccond period class Shannon, one of my friends, ran up to me and asked, "Did you know that the Twin Towers have just been hit by a plane? Oh My God, I bet Dallas is next!" Now my friend is very melodramatic, so i diddn't pay much attention. By the time my friend had finished her episode, I had set my books down at my desk and was on my out the door to get a drink of water. When I looked down the hall I noticed a group of people screaming and running around like chickens with their heads cut off. "I wonder what that's all about", I said to myself. I diddn't even get to the water fountain because the halls were so crazy, but when there was an announcement about the terrorist attack I lost my appetite.
