I'm currently reading the book again; my last time was about 12 years ago.
It's really scary how accurately the first 60 pages appear to describe our
current situation.
Did I see somewhere that Madison was considering a city-wide reading of a
particular book like Chicago just did so successfully with To Kill a
Mockingbird? 1984 would be a superb book for such a citywide readathon.
