Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was on my way to Philadelphia to perform a "Mystery Shopper' evaluation at a business. I was to meet 1 of my sisters in Chadds Ford on the way. I stopped at a bank enroute to cash some bonds and I could hear something about a plane crash on their radio. When I asked, the teller said "yeah, 2 of them crashed into the Twin Towers in New York - a horrible accident." I instinctly knew that 2 planes crashing was no accident and said so. I became rather anxious. I just knew that we were under some sort of attack. As soon as I got in my car, I had no problem finding a station giving the details, sketchy as they were. By the time I arrived at the place where my sister was supposed to meet me, I was upset, fearful & mad. And, I had no intention of going anywhere near Philadelphia!! When my sister arrived, I told her what I knew and invited her to come home with me. I wanted to check on my 85 year old mother with whom I live. We went home and watched TV as the horror continued to unfold. We felt pretty helpless. I am retired from the U.S. Navy nuclear submarine force so, I have very strong feelings about my country. This was an attack on everything in which I believe. I will never, ever forget that day.
