Tell us your story: My husband was still at work working graveyard, I could not figure out what the news was showing...thought it was a science-fiction thing...really didn't know at first and then BAM!!!!!!! I realized this all was actually happening in OUR NEW YORK. I was afraid to leave the house, I wanted to call EVERYONE and tell them I loved them, I thought the whole world was coming to an end. I thought I'd never see my loved ones again and was scarred to death. Alan Jackson's song WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THE WORLD STOPPED TURNING just says it all!!!!!! I've learned more patience and now talk to people I don't know, cry and grieve soo much for the families who lost loved ones and love OUR UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and appreciate it so much more.
