Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I had missed school the day before so I was still sick and groggy at the time,other than that it was a pretty normal day. I had no idea something different was going to happen that morning.I wasn't until after I got out of the shower that my mother said"umm... Tim,a plane just crashed into that building..." It really wasn't that big of a deal at first most probably thought it was just a huge accident. It least until a few moments later, then everyone started to have second thoughts."Look!It happened again!",my mother was right a second plane had crashed into the world trade center. We really didn't have time to gawk in horror.Even though my mom was still freaking out we realized that we needed to go. My sister would be late for school but at least I would be able to reach the docters office before I was late. On the way we learned that the pentagon had also been hit. Now THAT was really bad to me. When a place with protection of the magnitude can be hit crap has hit the fan. Because of a docters excuse I no longer had to go to school. My mom drove to the school to drop off my sister. She got off the car to find her class and my mother went in to check her in. My mother came back a little distressed. she didn't know whether to let my sister stay at school or pull her out. I told her to do what she felt but instead she let Rhiannon stay. I didn't want my mom to worry but it was all she could do the following weeks watching the TV. I wanted my mother to be able to forget, but I realized none of us would ever be able to forget that day.
