My daughter-in-law called to tell me that a plane had crashed into a building in NY. I turned on the TV in time to see the second plane crash. We were both shocked, I had to get to work, her to school. On my way to work, my friend called to tell me about the terrorist attack! I said, "So that's what they?re calling it". As I drove to work (downtown Phoenix) looking at our high-rises, I felt a great fear. And concern. For my daughters at school, my son at work, at people I knew in NY. At work, the ladies were in the conference room watching TV. I broke and wanted to go get my kids and go home. We were all allowed to leave. I cried most of that day.
