Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On September 11, 2001, I was getting ready for work.Sitting in my living room,I turned on my television just after the first plane had hit. I was not sure what I was looking at. As the news reporters began to say that a plane had hit the tower, the enormity of what was unfolding in front of my eyes became even more clear. Just then a second plane entered my television screen and turned sharply (from the camera angle) and flew straight into the second tower. I was stunned. Now there was no doubt that we (Americans)were under attack. In silent horror, I remained in front of the T.V. watching and waiting, wondering what would be next. I still see all of those people running and screaming in the streets of New York. How awful for them, for everyone. I was deeply affected by the tragedies our country faced that day. The loss of life still makes me cry if I let myself think of it for long. Since that terrible day, I have found renewed strength and courage seem to be the feelings of a lot of Americans. September 11, 2001, will be a day that I, along with millions of others will never forget. I can only pray that nothing like this ever happens again. May God bless America.
