911DA Story: Story

"MEMORIAL OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2001"
TODAY, WE WERE ATTACKED, FIRST THE TWIN TOWERS, NEW YORK.
SECOND, WASHINGTON, D.C., PENTAGON.

THOUSAND OF PEOPLE WERE KILLED TODAY.
THOUSAND WERE INJURED AND THOUSAND ARE MISSING STILL TODAY.
FAMILIES STILL MISSING THEIR LOVEONES, NOT HAVING TO BEABLE
TO BURY THEM.

THE FEAR OF BEING ATTACKED AGAIN, ALWAYS IN THEIR MINDS,
NIGHTMARES EVERY NIGHT OF THE ATTACK.

WHY DID THAT COUNTRY THINK THEY COULD DO THIS TO US?
BECAUSE WE HAVE OPEN DOOR POLICY TO ALL COUNTRIES AND
PEOPLE. IN RETURN, THEY ATTACK US ON OUR OWN GROUNDS.

THOSE POOR PEOPLE WORK TO GO TO WORK TO EARN A LIVING,
THEN TO HAVE THEIR LIVES TAKEN FROM THEM. AND FAMILIES
ARE NO LONGER WHOLE.

TODAY IS ONE YEAR FROM THAT DATE, WE STILL HAVE THE HEAVIEST ON OUR HEARTS FROM THE ATTACK ON AMERICAN, ON US.

GOD FORGIVE THEM FOR WHAT THEY STARTED.

I WROTE THIS POEM IN MEMORY OF THOSE LOSE LIVES AND
THEIR FAMILIES.
