Your first thought was denial
this can't possibly be true.
Where is my family
and what do I do?
Suddenly reality hit
this really did take place.
Many people are dead
and horrors on each face.
Your heart begins to hurt
and your eyes fill up with tears
You want to be there helping
But you can't over come your fears.
Your scared to leave your family
because what if this was you.
It broke your heart just thinking
It might have been someone you knew.
But after a year
we have come this far.
Things have gotten better
but it left a big scare.
But don't give up hope
do all you can do.
America stay strong
the red white and the blue.
