I had just sent our only daughter off to her first day at Head Start.I headed to a friend's Diner for a quiet cup of coffee.When I arrived,her husband,also the cook,was looking at the TV located behind the counter.He immediatly asked if I had heard the latest news.As he explained,the local news station was showing the events of that unforgetable day.At first,I really had a hard time beleiving what I was seeing.I remember asking "Is this real?".I sat,as if,"I"had been attacked.I thought,GOD help us.Then I had a sudden urge to immediatly go and get Kelsey from her first day at pre-school,frightened of more attacks and the Fear of losing my daughter.I rushed back to her school. I don't know personally any one who lost a life that day-but there will alway's be the place in my heart for every person that suffered that day.I hold my daughter a little tighter-I say"I love you",more.I feel we will heal, and grow even stronger as a nation.I am very proud of our president.
