911DA Story: Story

I got to work early that day. and began to start opening up the shop at around 8:30. howard stern was on the radio when he announced that the w.t.c. had just been it by an airplane. and there was smoke and fire . i immediately turned on our little t.v. that is in the office .as i struggled to get a clear reception i saw the second plane hit and as the time rolled on . soon washington was hit . i knew we where attacked and we would be going to war , i remember throwing up as i heard people on t.v. crying and screaming , the chaos and carnage , it moved me and hurt me , and angered me all at once . i'm a patriot through and through. i recall thinking of my father , who served in the u.s.a.f. for 20 years, and the things he tought me about this beautiful country and the things we must do , as a people, to preserve this union. i wish he was here .
God Bless America, and god bless all those who lost their lives on that dark day.
Brennan P. Smith
