Lying in my bed, completely unaware of what was transpiring but twenty minutes away, I slept. I did not have class until three in the afternoon that day and had planned to sleep in late. When I heard a loud pounding noise followed by the voice of my roommate telling me to turn on the news, I did not think much of it. Half asleep, I shuffled around for the television remote and lazily flipped through the various channels on the news. Half asleep and still unsure of just what I was looking for, I turned off the television after being unable to find my roommate on it.
