Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: On that fateful morning I was heading to work as a school bus driver for the town of Gilbert. It was about 5:30 in the morning when I was listening to a local radio station 98 KUPD when they begun mentioning the terrorist attacks. I listened to them talk about it and I was thinking dang this is a sick sick joke that they are playing. I stopped at a red light and had my window's down when another driver said to me "Can you beleive this?" I just told him no I just cant. I got to work and begun my route for my high school kids. After I dropped them off at their high school I called my husband and I told him to turn on the TV and to tell me if it was true or not. He just said in a dead tone "Yes its true." After my morning run was over I finally got to a TV and saw the second plane hit the tower and I just screamed inside. I could scream out loud. I was in total shock. Through out the day I was just glued to the TV watching the plane hit the tower over and over again. And to see those towers fall! And to see the pentagon being hit just made things feel oh so much worse. I was terrified that it may happen in my home town. And to hear nothing for days of aircraft not flying was the most eeriest thing ever. I pray every day for those who were lost that day and the families who were left behind.
