Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: The day started out as any other day in a hospital setting. Answering phone calls from pt's family and friends and doing patient care. One of the empty patient's room had on "Good Morning America" and all of a sudden one of my peers call for all of us to come and see what just happened to the Twin Towers. None of us could believe our eyes. An airplane just hit the North Towers and smoke was bellowing out from the windows and where the plane entered.. We at first thought it was just a plane that was having problems. When all of a sudden the South Tower was also hit. They interrupted the broadcast and said that there are possibly more highjacked airplanes out there. I never in my life have been so scared and wanted to be with my family which was impossible at that time. This incident has made me appreciate every day and everything that GOD has given me. Life is like a fragile piece of crystal and is to be treated carefully and cheerished.
