Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My father was in the hospital that day and I had been sleeping, when the phone rang. My mom told me to turn on the news and it was right after the first plane hit. I sat in stunned silence, just shaking my head. My husband woke up and together, we both held hands and was just stunned. Then, the second plane hit. It felt like the world was coming to an end. I never experienced such a feeling of helplessness. Then, we heard about the Pentagon and Flight 93 and we just could not believe this was happening to us! I stayed with my family all day and watched the news and prayed for all of the people who died that day and their families. My heart goes out to them, especially today, September 11, 2002, the day which brought it all back. The tears, anger and sorrow for our nation. God Bless America and I WILL NEVER FORGET!
