That morning I was already at work at my storefront business in downtown Brooklyn when the first plane hit. The ground vibrated from the explosion and I immediately walked outside to see Tower One in flames. All I could think of was the loss of life that just occurred. I felt sick and angry as I witnessed the second plane hit and the horrible fact that this was not an accident. I called my employees outside to witness this event and to remember for future generations. Many years ago I had the privilege to visit both towers before it was opened to the public and remembered its construction. My worst fear became reality when the collapses occurred.
