Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was going through my own hell on the morning of 9/11/01, I was recovering from surgery due to breast cancer and not sure of the road ahead for myself and my family. I turned on the t.v. and was starting to get my children up for school and the images on the news made me crumble, I screamed for my husband and we watched in horror as the first tower burned. We decided the kids should go to school and then we see the second plane hit, What was going on??!! I know that my husband and I didn't move from that t.v. and we kept saying it couldn't be happening. Each time the crashes were replayed it looked like a movie not real life, how sad is that! I cried for all those who lost there loved ones, for us as a nation , for having to explain this to an eight and six year old and for our mortality. I know the terrorist thought we would crumble but I am so proud to be an American and have a brother who serves our counrty in the Navy. Thank you to our Armed Forces, our fireman, police and all the others who have shown what it means to be an American!!!! God Bless America!!!!
