911DA Story: Story
I was getting everyone ready for school and myself for work. I had the news on and it said a plane hit one of the towers of the World Trade Center and at that point the news said it was an accident. I was passing the T.V and happend to look over at it when the second plane hit- the news casters and myself were shocked and it hit me that this was no accident- I began to wake the rest of the children and was then glued to the T.V. set- when it was announced that the pentagon was hit I immediantly started calling my family members and my husband at work to tell them I loved them and to watch the news. I didn't go to work until noon that day and watched the news unfold for almost two straight weeks. I will never forget the way I felt that morning and how it has changed my life and thoughts. I applied for a job at Morgan Stanley about two months before and was denied the job. I was so upset that I did not get it and was depressed about it. My training was to have taken place in New York-Now I know why I did not get it and I am grateful. God bless America now and always.
