911DA Story: Story
Experience of 9/11
I was getting up for school, still not used to the early morning schedule. I knew it was going to be a good day. Math was over and I was heading off to gym when I noticed that the teachers weren?t acting as normal. They looked, as they were afraid of something and extremely worried. I was finished for gym when my gym teacher Mr. B told me ?that a plane has just hit the trade centers?.
My jaw dropped to the floor. Now first I?m thinking the plane was a small plane and the trade centers they were saying were the N.J INTL Trade centers. But no it was a big airliner and the trade centers were the World Trade center in N.Y. City. Around 10:00-11:00 our new principal called us up to the auditorium and told us about the world changing experience. All the teachers were worrying about friends and family members, and a lot of emotions were all about. Some students were using laughter and jokes to cheer up.
Around 1:00 my mother called the school and came and got me out of school. All my other siblings were in the car. My Mother brought us down to Rita?s Italian Ices because she didn?t want us to watch the news all over the TV on almost every channel.
Later that day at dinnertime while we were all eating there was no one talking throughout the whole entire night from the big shock! The next morning no could say anything, it was just eat, shower, and off to school.
As time past news of 9/11 just died off and people just continued with there normal lives. And finally everyone just began to forget about it. Until now the one year anniversary is coming the news and memories are coming back.
