On September 11, 2001, I was the Service Manager at Majic Window Company. I was at my desk, working, when my office manager walked in, and told me a plane had struck into the One of the World Trade Center towers. I could not believe what I was hearing, and turned on my radio in my office. I called my mom, she was at work, and she had heard too, and was crying, then I heard the radio, and a man was screaming that another plane had hit the other tower. I was totally befuddled. Two of my co-workers that shared my office with me were listening with me, all of us in awe. I could not function normally the rest of the day. Thank goodness my extension barely rang, usually swarmed with high call volumes, my office was silent.
I was 19 years old when this tragedy occured. So young, but now, so much more endowed with knowledge, on how cruel the world can really be...
