Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My name is Rob, and have been in the US Navy for nine years. I was graduating from a school that morning. I left the base and was heading for my new home that i had set up prior to going to school. I was a newlywed of about 9 months, and found out about three weeks earlier that she was leaving me. I took it as best i could knowing that i would try to change her mind apon my return. I left the base about 8:30A and started to here the incoming news. All i knew to do was drive and call the one i LOVED. I contiued on and drove around the east side of Washington DC. The lingering black cloud over DC was so scary and sobering, that i was forced to call again. I continued on and tried to believe that i could change her feeling, but like the attack, i was not able to change what was going to happen. Today i am trying to understand all that has happened in the last two years and am unable to. I would like to say that i feel for those that have lost family or freinds, but know that those of us in the service are here to protect your freedom in which so many have died to protect.
