Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: What a beautiful day it was starting out to be, but I had so much to do I decided to take a nap. I arose every morning at 2:30 am to go to the Hartford Courant depot to deliver the newspapers. My husband came in to wake me and tell me at 9:45 am that my daughter was on the phone. Annie asked me,"Do you know what is happening to our country?" and said to turn on the TV. My heart sank and I felt ill. I couldn't believe my eyes. The smoke the 2nd plane then right there, the whole building just went roaring down. We were in shock it was just horrible! People running and dazed... How many injured, killed?, and here I was at home not able to do anything but pray. I fumbled through the day mostly glued to the TV. The Pentagon in flames-The President in a special Bunker, another plane that might have been headed toward the White House or Capitol, had crashed in Penn. I was fumming mad! God's Love is Greater than all the hate and destruction, but the anger and rage and pain made it so confusing. I just determined to count God Faithful, He Loves us even though he allows these horrible things to happen. That takes Faith, when your feelings tell you otherwise. I just felt miserable..., called relatives and friends, e-mailed I love you's and wanted to do something and feel better. I didn't go to NY. I had to work and care for my family. I lit candles and Prayed for God to Comfort and care for the families of the victims. No, I didn't know any specific person who had died but they are my sisters and brothers. Now, one year later I begin to "feel" the Love of God is Able to help and comfort and heal us. I still pray that the victims can receive and Feel His LOVE and COMFORT too. The ememy never has won! May His Love lead us and empower us to continue to Triumph over all destructive, hate,ignorance,jealousy,and pain that drives people to do these insane malicious acts.
