i was just getting up at 12 and i found out later that day that it happened before then but as i turned on the tv is when i found out what happened and it took away my breath for what seemed like hours. i couldnt even stand. i thought at that moment that the Lord came back and took every one but me and i was terrified. i cried for hours and watched in terrer as the story unfolded even more. as the hours went by i seen things that i never imagined would ever happen here but i did see a country come together with a strength that hasnt been seen for a long time and i seen a president rise up and take charge. even after a year i still cant imagine the devastation that it has made. yea i am still thankful that i am alive but i am still sadden at all those family and friends that lost loved one in the plans and the pentagon and the towers and i am sorry for all the countiers that lost peole in this great tragedy. i am also even more thankful for all the police officers and fire firters and the paramedics.
