Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My boyfriend woke me up on September 11 saying my friend was on the phone. He was saying something about America being attacked and thinking it was all a joke because Jodi, my friend, and I had just had a huge fight the night before. Jodi got me to turn on the television and we saw what was going on with the first tower. Then we saw the plane crash into the second tower. My boyfriend and I went driving around Fremont to see what was going on around our town, and we heard a loud, large jet fly overhead. We thought the attacks were moving towards Nebraska because all the airplanes were supposed to be grounded. Shortly after that we heard President Bush was in Nebraska at an airforce base, not more than half an hour away. We went home and spent the rest of the day on the couch together, glued to the television in shock.
