I remember workign for Dreyfus and watching the Financial News on CNN seeing the news story that an explosion had taken place at the World Trade Center and watching the smoke at a building that I had recently been to the top of. Then there was another explosion that the TV correspondents thought was a bomb. I called my wife who worked on 38th Street two miles from the building and she walked uptown with countless others to her sisters apartment on 83rd Street and camped out for the night with five other friends and my nephew who had seen the whole tragedy from 23Rd Street. He proceeded to go to his office building next to the Trade Center until we convinced him to leave the area since he was coughing too much.
