September 11,2001 was a horrific experience for me. I had survived the Oklahoma City bombing of April 19. The sight of the buildings burning and collapsing brought that same terror that I thought I had finally gotten over. My heart wept for all the innocent lives that were lost on that fateful day. I just continue to pray that no-one else will have to go through the same circumstances that I and all those people in Oklahoma and New York went through. Today is the 1st annivesary of 9/11 and it hurts just as much today as it did then. Will we ever be truely safe again, with our heads in the clouds, innocent in our beliefs that no-one would dare commit such an act on us or that it would never happen here??? No, our innocence is lost but we still stand proudly. Our heads are below the clouds and we keep a watchful eye on our enemies now.....a lesson too late to learn but one we'll never forget. kris
