Tell us your story: When I first heard about the attack I was having breakfast in a resturant with my husband so we went to the nearest location to watch television, my mother's home. what terrible sights we beheld! I could not imagine the horror all those people were enduring. Most of us in the United States have never known what it is to be in jeopardy of life. We have never experienced war in our country. Pearl Harbor was a long time ago and possibly we thought we were invincible since we are the "Super Power". What we really need is for President Bush to call for a day of repentance. Yes... you read this right. We in the United States need to repent. NOT FOR BEING A GREAT, POWERFUL, AND PROSPEROUS COUNTRY. NO, FOR NOT BEING GRATEFUL FOR ALL OUR BLESSINGS. We also need to repent for our unrighteousness and for LEAVING GOD OUT OF OUR LIVES. We speak of and about God; but we do not reverence Him or live by His precepts. GOD HELP US! May God bless our country; bring our citizens to acknowledge Him in truth, and revive us all to righteous living. May our leader know and serve Him in truth. Tell us your story: I was working the night shift in NYC at the time and would commute through the WTC in the afternoon (going to work) and late at night (coming home from work). My boss wanted me to work during the day on September 10th, so I commuted through the WTC around 8:30am. (I'm so thankful he didn't ask me to come in early on the 11th - I would have been there during the attacks). So, on the 10th, as I was riding up the escalator, I noticed the lighted sign which said "GOOD MORNING! WELCOME TO THE WORLD TRADE CENTER" and there was a big animated sun. I thought it looked weird because whenever I went through there it always said "GOOD AFTERNOON! WELCOME TO THE WORLD TRADE CENTER." After I got off of work (I worked a 12-hour day), I went through the World Trade Center at around 11:30pm. Something was very compelling about the walls for some reason. I was looking closely and touching the advertisements that had been pasted to the walls. Again, I don't know why I was so interested in this - I saw it every day. Little did I know that the very place where I was walking would be destroyed just a few hours later. I went home and went to sleep. At around 11am I was woken up by what I thought was a bunch of car alarms. I kept thinking to myself "those damn car alarms...why can't people shut them off!!!" As I was thinking this, the phone was ringing in my kitchen. (I had my ringer turned off in my bedroom because of my weird work hours - I was usually sleeping when telemarketers would call). I answered the phone and it was my roommate. She said "Mandy - have you gotten any of my messages?" and I was like "no...what's wrong?" and she said "look outside - the World Trade Center! It's gone!". I looked outside, and to my disbelief, there was a huge cloud of smoke and no towers. (I live right across the river from the towers, so this was happening very close to where I live). I didn't know what was happening. My roommate told me that planes crashed into the trade center and that thousands of people died. She said "Do NOT go into work today - they're closing everything off." I got off the phone with her, and turned on the news. I tried calling my parents and couldn't get through. I went to my answering machine and noticed I had 11 messages. My parents and my boyfriend kept leaving messages for me - and they were worried sick because they thought I was there. After tons of tries I finally got ahold of my mom and she told me to leave the area and come home because planes were flying into buildings all over the place (I live on the 29th floor of a high-rise). When my mom told me about the planes, I didn't realize it was terrorism, I thought one plane went off course and then threw a whole bunch of other planes off course. Well, that made me so nervous....but there was nothing I could do - I tried getting a cab but all of the roads were closed. To top this all off, I live on top of the Holland Tunnel - which totally freaked me out. I didn't know what to do. I finally heard on the news that they cleared the airspace so I felt a little more relieved. I spent the entire day watching the news. I videotaped the cloud of smoke and fighter planes flying overhead. I also filmed National Guard trucks and the longest line of ambulances I have ever seen filter into the Holland Tunnel. I decided to go into work the next day. The PATH trains were all free. The city was EMPTY. I saw a couple of women holding a newspaper with a picture of the burning towers on it, smiling and holding it in front of them while their friend took their picture. I wanted to punch them. My dad's cousin died in the attacks - and my uncle saved his whole company by telling them all to leave when the announcement over the loudspeaker told everyone to go back to their seats. I will never ever forget that day, and pray for those families who lost loved ones. Although I will always be shocked that I did, I am so thankful that I slept through the attacks. Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I teach World History to ninth graders at Rose Hill High School in Rose Hill, Kansas. I remember walking toward the office and a teacher said, "the World Trade Center has been hit and is on fire." I asked if it was terrorists and the teacher said it was too early to know. He told me to turn on my room television. I went back to my room turned on my television and watched with horror as history unfolded before my very eyes. At about the time my planning period was over, my first class of that day began entering the room and we watched incredulously as the second plane hit; and as the first tower collapsed we watched and absorbed the seemingly unreal scenario as it grew in shock and horror. When the second tower collapsed, another class witnessed World History as never seen or witnessed before. We continued to watch television the entire day of September 11, 2002, and we continued to see incredibly grisly images of our fellow Americans who succumed to the whims of terrorists. We also witnessed American tenacity; the will to assist others, and the will to survive. This was a history lesson for the ages, we didn't read about it, we didn't view it on a video, and we didn't hear it on a casette player.....we witnessed this history live, and we shall never forget it. When we do read about it in our history books it will hold special meaning because we saw it first hand. I had just been instructing my students on the history of the Jews and the Palestinians just before 911 occurred......they now know full well why the USA is so hated by so many in the world of Islam; I hope they will also always remember that those kinds of people who do such heinous things are a very small group of depraved misled people. That morning my mother, my father and I where heading to New Jersey for business we left NYC about 5:00 am. I remember it was a beautiful clear morning I grow up in the city so the NYC skyline did not faze me much but as we where leaving the city the WTC caught my eye it was beautiful l the way the rising sun shinned it. We stopped at the rest area for some breakfast. About 8:40 am I heard a loud crashing sound and saw smoke coming from the NYC sky line. Nobody at the rest area knew what happened. We left the rest area and got off at the Woodridge exit. It was not until we stopped at a local gas station when we heard the news from a gas attendant. Wanting to watch the news we drove to SEARS at Woodbridge Mall. We walked in and the store was dead as we got to the TV department is when we saw about 60 people all gathered together watching this horrific tragedy unfold. My grandmother and sister lives close to NYC and I was getting worried because every time I tried calling them I got a message saying "All circuits are busy please try again" I finally got a hold of them at 10 at night. That evening we slept in our van at a rest area because they were not letting anyone in the city. Sitting in the rest area we saw firemen and emergency personnel from all over the country stopping for coffee before going to help out at ground zero. finally some days later they let people who lived in the city back in. the city looked like a ghost town the streets where empty and when you saw someone the where wearing a white mask because they where afraid of what?s in the air. The supermarkets where all most out of food I saw these to men fight over the last gallon of milk. I kept on saying to my self this is not happening this is not my city it felt like we entered the Twilight Zone. A month later my step father lost his job do to lay offs so we packed up and headed to California in our purple Grand Caravan covered with American flags and saying like "these colors don't run". Tell us your story: I'm a hospital corpsman in the Navy and once or twice a month we held blood drives throughout base. 9/11 was our scheduled blood drive for that month. We got stuck in a basement of an old building but we did what we could to get set up and soon we were ready for donors. The morning had been slow but there was a continous flow of people coming in. One of my friends then approached me and told me that two planes had crashed into the twin towers. Rumors spread so quickly and being stuck in a basement we didn't have a T.V. or radio so none of us really knew what was going on. All I heard throughout the day were rumors. I remember being upset because the officer in charge told us to stop talking about it and focus on what we were doing. Soon, people starting coming to the blood drive by 100's. On an average blood drive we would normally get around 25-30 units of blood. This day we received over 100 units of usable blood. We didn't stop taking donors until after dark. When I was finally on my way home I still had no idea of what was really going on. When I pulled out of the base I saw miles of cars lined up trying to get on base. I think it was then I started to realize how big this really was. I walked in my house to find my boyfriend staring blankly at the T.V.. I'll never forget how I felt the first time I actally saw those planes crashing into the towers. For days after that, whenever I closed my eyes, all I could see was that image. The days that follow were the most horrible days of my life. My boyfriends' grandmother passed away and he would be gone for the next week. It was also my 21st birthday but I felt so sad and heartbroken, I really couldn't be happy. All I remember is getting in my car and driving for hours because I couldn't stand the feeling of being home and everthing on T.V. was so upseting. I had never felt so unprepared and alone in my life. All I could do is think about the families of the victims and how much I felf so lucky to be alive. At 21, I felt for the first time, how important and short life could be. A year later, I can hardly stand to watch images form 9/11. Although I will always feel for the families of those who were affected, I wish I never had to see or hear about it again. I have so much pain inside of me but I can't even begin to understand what the families are going through. They're always in my prayers. The radio was playing a 60's melody when suddenly the was a break in the melody and a very excited voice was telling me that a plane had just crashed into the Trade center. I was so intently listening that I went past the dental office and continued on for about a half a mile before I realized where I was. When I entered the dental office everyone was clustered around the T.V. the second plane had crashed. Every one was reaching for their phones to talk to a loved one, and reassure themselves that they were safe. My two Daughter were in Chicago,Il. They were to attend the Ophra Winphrey show that day. The show was canceled, but the were stranded in Chicago as all planes were grounded. The next morning my son-in-law drove from Mpls.,Mn to Champaigne, Il. They took a train to the little town and met him and they drove back together to Mpls. Even with this personal turmoil it still didn' feel real. We spent our time the next few days watching the t.v. or if we had to go anywhere, listened to radios and called home to reassure ourselves that they were there safe and sound. My biggest concern was for my grandchildren and greatgrandchld.What kind of a world are they going to live in? It's hard to teach love when such a hateful thing has occured. September 11, 2001 lurked a few days in the future that afternoon as I bicycled through Herrick Lake Forest Preserve, praying for career guidance. I implored the heavens for a sign (though Id never seen one before), and then noticed two distinctly-shaped purple clouds frozen unchanging (unlike most clouds), side-by-side in the western sky. But this couldnt be right! The first cloud, shaped like the silhouette of Miss Libertys leftwards-gazing head, with her Roman profile and chignon, looked so much like an old coin that I protested, reminding God of my disinterest in financial occupations. The second cloud profiled the front half of an Eagle, its talon outstretching fiercely to the right, an image Id seen in old emblems and advertising for the U.S. Military, Government and Postal Service. Again, I protested, certain my career could not be in those organizations, nor in Washington DC. Then I noticed the contrails of two airplanes slowly approaching my clouds from the upper right. One pierced Miss Libertys head and I sadly watched the resultant deformation. But when the cloud stopped changing, Miss Libertys head remained intact -- and now she had a body, and the contrail lingered to make the shape of a spear over her shoulder. Miss Liberty stood poised like Athena, ready to fling her spear. The other contrail struck the Eagle in its back, behind its head. This time the result was undramatic, as the Eagles shape prevailed and the contrails effects dissipated. As I rode my bike home, I marveled that the clouds changed no further. After September 11, I realized that I had seen a prophetic vision. The plane destroyed the clouds resemblance to a coin (New Yorks World Trade Center) and transformed its shape; from the wreckage, Miss Liberty (America) arose intact and braced for war. The Eagle (The Pentagon), like the U.S. Government and Military, remained steadfast and quickly healed when struck by the plane (a memory especially reassuring during the days of chaos and uncertainty immediately following the attacks). A year has now passed. Though I still wonder if an answer to my career prayer was embedded in this experience (perhaps guidance to work in Homeland Security), I remain awed and comforted by what I saw. God, the Ruler of the Universe, foretold of the September 11 attacks and Americas response. As Americans scurry about planning warfare, restoration, and memorials, the vision in the clouds reminds us to keep foremost in our hearts the words cast on all our U.S. coins: In God We Trust. Tell us your story: I was walking to my 2nd hour class when my teacher called me into her class room and her tv was on the news and all of it came crashing down i couldn't belive my eyes i was shocked and tearified. See my uncle lived in New York at the Time and i had no idea what happened to him so i went out and started back to my 2nd hour class when i feel to my knees in the hall and started to cry like a baby.. i was so so scaryed that i would loss my uncle that i loved so so much.. so i finally got to my 2nd hour and my teacher just kinda looked at me and then turned away she had no idea what had happen so i told her to turn on the News and then everyone in my class was shocked to see that someone would kill so many inocent people for no reason at all... He had been gone just about 10 minutes when he called me and told me to turn on the TV as a plane had crashed into a tower of the World Trade Center. My husband is a retired Colonel in the Air Force and has always been cool, calm and collected. There was in his voice a tremor I had not hear before. As I watched the scene I was in awe of what was happening but when the second plane hit I felt such terror and then empathy for the people in the towers and on the planes. I immediately called both of my daughters and asked them if they knew what was happening. One did and the other did not. I needed to hear their voices and I needed to tell them I loved them. We prayed and hung up. Then when the first tower started to collapse I called my husband and told him to look but he said he was. He said he was coming home, I think we needed to be with each other. By the time he arrived home the other tower was collapsing. I cried and asked why, he was choked up and then he was angry. As time went by and the Pentagon was struck and the plane went down in Pennsylvania I continued to ask how this could have happened and why God would allow it to. Using his military backgound and training he offered thoughts and told of past projects he participated in regarding security and what could happen. He had no answer about God. Even though I had no family or friends killed in these terrorist attacks a part of me has an empty place for all of those who are no longer with their family and friends in the flesh. My husband has shed tears, as I have and thinks in terms of an eye for an eye. He also watches closely how we handle the safety of the USA. All in all neither he nor I will ever think that America is untouchable by those who hate what we stand for. But we also know we must stand together to keep this country strong, the terrorists will not win. Tell us your story: I rarely take the time to watch the news or read the paper, but I started getting up earlier over the past weeks and started watching CNN as I got myself, my son and my finace ready for work and school. I had the television on and the volume set low, for reasons I don't remember now, because a phone call from my sister, who lives in Buffalo, NY set a different tone for the remainder of the day. She called to ask if I was watching tv and I told her yes and asked why. She told me about the first tower attack. I quick turned the volume up, called my fiance out to the living room and the two of us stood there, staring at the tv, at 6:00 am Pacific time. We were in time to watch the second World Trade Tower hit by the plane and stood there exchanging looks of shock and numbness. That feeling of numbness, the same feeling I get when I hear about a person's death of someone close to me, carried with me all that day. The shock and numbness were soon accompanied by concnern for our family members in New York State, as both Jeff and I are originally from NY. I didn't want to go to work or let my son go to school, but I pushed myself to belive nothing else would happen, especially to anyone I knew. I was a bit on edge, worried until I came home to see my son home from school, safe and sound. Once I knew all was good with my loved ones, I turned my thoughts solely to those who were lost in the attacks and their family and friends who were left to feel the loss. I wasn't even born when JFK was shot and killed, so I can't say "I remember where I was when JFK was killed", but I am sorry to say my generation has something worse to say they remember where they were when: The World Tade Towers, the Pentagon and that plane headed for PA was attacked; the day the terorists made the US a very vulnerable country for a very long time. I think of how my grandfather, who has been dead for ten years, was a man of the Navy and an overall very patriotic person, felt and what he thought as he watched from the Heavens above at the terror that took place that day. If he were alive still today, I would have been moved right back to NY, where he could have all his family close by in the event anything of such magnitude ever happened again. And if he had been alive that day, I know that despite the strong and hateful words he would have spoken in regards to the people that attacked, that in private he would be shedding tears for the love of his country and all those that, like himself in WWII, laid their lives on the line to protect this country. I heard a man quoted on the radio the other day for saying that Sept. 11th caused many people to reassess their values. I thought about that on and off all day, and I know that live is precious, and it is too short to let the little things get the best of you because there is always something much bigger that may just get the best of you. ANd I try every day now to appreciate my son like I never have before, just in case there isn't a tomorrow. I will end this by saying that my thoughts and prayers continue to go out to those who were personally affected by the attacks and I give praise to the fine souls that risked their lives in the aftermath. Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I remember September 11th, 2001 very well. It was about 9:30 am and I was sitting in my Middle Eastern Studies class. We had been discussing all of the horrible things that were going on in the Middle East for days. All of a sudden some kid came running into our classroom screaming, "Something's going on in New York, something terrible!" My teacher turned on the television and sure enough, it was terrible. We all watched the news in awe. No one said even a word for the rest of the hour and a half class time. We just shook our heads in disbelief. I remember leaving my class and crying all the way home. I called my fiance to tell him about what had happened (because he was still in bed). I couldn't even talk to him about it. I just said, "turn the TV to NBC." The rest of the day I just moped around wondering if it was ever going to end. One attack after another. My friend was frantic calling her aunt in Washington, D.C. Her uncle was stationed at the Pentagon and no one had heard from him for hours. Needless to say, he didn't make it out. Yes, here in the heart of Illinois, we have been deeply affected by this tragedy. No one has any right to terrorize a country that represents freedom and acceptance for all races and religions. This is unbelievable and something that NO ONE will ever, ever forget. I still cry when I hear patriotic songs, poems, or anything remotely related to the September 11th tragedy. I am horrified to be part of the generation that has to see so much terrorism, yet privilaged to be a part of this unified, patriotic, free spirit that has uplifted us all. At around 10:45 I got checked out of school and on my way home my mom and dad was telling me what had happened. On that same day about 9:45 my mom recived a call from her aunt saying that our cousin had died in The Twin Towers. We cried and cried until a couple of hours later we recived another call saying that her baby was also found dead. She had took her baby there with her and they both died. Well I was very devasted. I wondered how could someone want to do that to our country. As I grew older I still wondered that same thing. Well about 3 years later I was older so my mom and dad could explain to me. They told me it was because we are a rich country and other things also. Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I am Brazilian and I live in Paris with my French husband. On Sept 11 2001, it was about 3pm in France and I was at work. I called a Brazilian friend who also lives in Paris to chat, and the moment she answered she asked me if I was calling "because of the plane that hit WTC". I didn't know anything about it, neither did she know anything else, and I just tried to seek information on the internet. Instinctively I tried to load some Brazilian news sites; one of them still had its normal frontpage, the other one had this caption "plane hits WTC" and that was it. I emailed my brother and a friend in Brazil, who I knew would be connected at that time (10am in Rio), asking them if they had any other information. I tried to connect to French news sites, nothing was on, and then tried to connect to CNN, which took a long time to load. In the meanwhile, my brother Gustavo and my friend Luiz had answered saying that apparently a second plane had hit the other tower. I felt as if I was going to fall, my heartbeats accelerated and I was really scared. Still, I couldn't get any news from any other website, and I was embarassed to pass along the news on the office because I was afraid it wasn't real, or maybe it was just a mistake made by the Brazilian news sites... When I finally got CNN and I confirmed it, I told the people working with me what was happening. Everybody thought it was a joke; I remember my boss coming out of a meeting and not wanting to hear it, thinking everyone was making fun of him. The emails exchange between my brother, my friend and I continued. I can still remember when my brother wrote me saying that they had hit the Pentagon. There were also some rumours and I have this email where my brother "yells" "oh my God, they just hit the United Nations building". I thought he was talking about the Swiss one, and then I thought it was the end of the world and that all capitals in Europe would be attacked. I was really afraid and wanted to go home to be with my husband - but I kept trying to call him in the mobile and he just didn't answer. I also tried to call my mom in Brazil, I really thought this was the beginning of WWIII and that an atomic bomb would fall in some minutes. I never felt so scared in my life. The time passed and I got a bit calmer when I understood there was no threats in Europe (for that moment); still I was afraid and really sorry for all the people in the WTC. I remember helping my friend Luiz call his dad, who was in NY that day; he finally made to call him. I also remember the cold reaction my boss' boss had when learning it - "oh, that's nothing, now go back to work and call the ad agency". I'll never forget that - I was there saying "but don't you see? things will never be the same again!" and she was like "nah, they'll just arrest some people and that's it". Little did she know about all the impacts on economy that would follow -specially on our industry, Tourism... My brother told me "go home as soon as you can" - he was afraid for me being in Paris, an important capital in Europe - "and don't go near the Eiffel Tower". Well, I instantly calculated - the tower is at 2km from my home... I finally got my husband on the phone and I told him I'd be going home as soon as possible and if he could please do the same. In the company I worked at the time, nobody got to go home sooner, nor did we have TV sets or radios - we were supposed to be working normally! I'll never understand this reaction. I did call the ad agency and they answered "are you nuts? we're not working, the world is changing!". I felt relieved... On my way home, I was really afraid of a terrorist attack on the subway. When I finally got home, I was able to call my mom and talk for a while, both of us crying and not knowing what would happen next. I really hoped at that time to be in Brazil with my family and husband, I still think it'd be safer for that matter. I watched the news on TV all night long, crying everytime I saw the images of the planes hitting the towers. I still think about how people on the planes felt, knowing that it would crash. Today, 2 days before the 1-year anniversary of the attacks, I want to say that I am feeling very sorry for all the people who died in that day, for all the families that lost someone - because I know how hard it is. I try to see both sides of the question - how the international US policies are somewhat responsible for all this hate, and also how unfair it was to kill so many innocents. And I pray for the souls of those who died, I pray for the familes, and also pray for a better world, where there will be a better comprehension of the differences between people and where all decisions will be made based on global needs, not individual ones. Well not every night, just since July because the TV in my bedroom has been broken since then. Every night has been the same since then. I would fall asleep watching television, and Brian would wake me up before he went to work. I would go into my bedroom and fall back asleep, and later wake up for work. I don?t know why I didn?t get a new television, I have the money, I guess I am just a little too lazy sometimes. Every night it was the same routine. It kind of worked out well. I worked late-nights and Brian worked nine to five so we weren?t in each other?s way. By the end of the summer I kind of thought that Brian was getting mad, or at least annoyed that he woke me up every morning. I actually liked it, because of our different hours we hardly saw each other. Brian was my big brother and by waking me up, I guess he felt like he was looking out for me. At times I think Brian was madder that I fell asleep with the TV on. Heaven forbid the electricity bill was more than last month. One night about seven months ago, I fell asleep on the couch watching television. I remember this night so well, because it wasn?t unlike tonight at all. Brian woke me up before he went to work. He shook me and said, ?Neal, how are you going to wake up for work.? I said, ?Don?t worry I will go inside?. I got up went inside and fell back to sleep. The next thing I remember is my cell phone ringing, I didn?t answer it, and I thought that if it were important they would call my house phone. Looking back I realized that this was totally against my normal routine. Normally when I got home from work at night I shut my ringer off because I would get calls from telemarketers all morning. Any one that needed me knew to call my cellular phone A few minutes later my cell phone rang again; I still didn?t answer it. I was waiting for my house phone to ring before I thought anything of it. Sure enough my house phone rang next. It was my mother, and she was hysterical. She told me to turn on the news. When I put the news on, I saw that a plane had flown into the building that Brian worked in. Mom was telling me to call Brian and find out what was going on. Within the next few minutes, a plane had hit the other tower of the pair. The next thought in my head was my brother Eric, he was supposed to be flying to Tampa that morning for business. I asked mom about Eric. She said that she couldn?t get in touch with him. Apparently the phone lines were all tied up because of what had happened. Mom couldn?t get a call through to Eric because he lives in New Jersey. When I finally got Eric on the phone, he was just as bad as mom. His flight had been cancelled and he was home alone. Eric is the oldest of us, but he really doesn?t handle bad situations well. I knew I had to get to Eric because he was alone. Mom was not alone, so she was ok. I was watching the news and when the first of the two towers collapsed, I ran out of the house. Traffic to New Jersey was horrible, I later found out that the Outerbridge Crossing was closed. Actually all of the bridges to Jersey were closed. While I was sitting in traffic, Eric called me. He told me that the tower had collapsed. Knowing that Tower Two collapsed and Brian was in Tower One I told him not to worry; Brian was in the other tower. Between his tears he was able to explain that now both towers had collapsed. In disbelief I told him not to worry everything would be ok. Sure enough Eric was right, both towers had fallen, but it had been almost two hours and I felt that Brian had enough time to get out. At this point, I just didn?t want to be alone. Now my sister-in-law was home, so Eric wasn?t alone. I went to the only place I could get to, Mom?s house. When I got there, mom was alone and crying. All I could was hold her and try to comfort her. We were keeping hope alive, but part of us knew that there was no way Brian had escaped. It had been about four hours now and still no word from Brian. Out of nowhere, my cell phone beeped with a voice message. I knew it was Brian, he was calling to tell us that he was ok. When I heard his voice I felt such a sigh of relief, but it came too soon. This was the first call that my cell phone received that morning. In all of the confusion and with the phone lines being tied up, I had just got the message. It was Brain calling at 8:51 am. He called to tell us what had happened. He said, ? A plane had hit the trade center and I am in it, everything is on fire. If I don?t make it out of here, tell everyone that I love them?, and then he said his last choked up goodbye. After almost seven months, a memorial service, and a funeral, we still don?t want to admit that Brian is no longer with us. On that sunny September morning something stopped me from answering the phone. I don?t know what it was, but now the last words that Brian had for us will be with us forever. Now even seven months later I still fall asleep on the couch with the television on, hoping that this was all a dream; waiting for Brian to shake my arm and tell me to go inside, because I don?t want to be late for work.
