Tell us your story: I am only 23 years old and I remember driving to work and hearing all this alarm on the radio and me being young thought nothing of it until I really listened and then I got goose bumps. I did not ever in my lifetime I would see such tragidy and I live thousands of miles away and it still touched me. I found out that a girl I went to high school with lost her sister there. I may not have been great friends with her but I knew her and that was good enough. I came home that night and just kissed and loved my children. I try to live life like it is my last day here and I have nothing more to do but live it the best I can. I hope this never happens again and I think we all need to take a step back and look at the world and make it better. We are destroying our lives. Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I got up like every other morning; got the children ready, took them to school, and came back home. I worked the night before. I was so exhausted; so I fell asleep on the couch with the Today Show. I woke up a little after 10:00 a.m. to a world I did not recognize. I was seeing the television, hearing the words -- but completely unable to comprehend that it was real. As silly as this sounds, I didn't believe it. I thought what they were saying was a mistake, a parody, or a very unfunny joke. I thought maybe I had lost it. I live in apartments; so I literally ran to some neighbor's unit. I said, "What is going on?" She told me that the World Trade Centers had collapsed. I still couldn't believe it. I went to another neighbor's house and said the same thing. It was only when a second neighbor repeated the news that it sunk in that these things were really happening, that the situation was real. I immediately grabbed my keys, went to the school, and picked up my children. I felt it wasn't safe for us to be anywhere other than our home. I was afraid, too, that the children would hear about the attack and be frightened. I discovered when I picked them up that they already knew. They were in elementary school and had overheard the teachers whispering. That whole day was so unsettled. Nobody seemed to know what would happen next. I was afraid to take any chances. We left town immediately and went to my father's home in the mountains of North Carolina. I figured we would be safe there since there is literally less than a hundred people in his entire town. I remember the incongruity of that weekend: standing in my father's front doorway watching the children play outside on a tire swing on a beautiful sunny warm afternoon while, endlessly, the news spoke of thousands of deaths, of terrible deliberate destruction, of unimaginable pain and loss. It was just too much. I wanted to walk away from the sounds of the television, from the knowledge of what we were all facing; but I couldn't stop listening, fearful that there would be another threat. I kept looking up at the sky, too: it was the first time in my entire life that I knew there were no airplanes in the skies above it. September 11, 2001 was the first day of a new world. When I awoke, the first thing I saw was Attack on America across the television screen. It was frightening listening to the newspeople tell the events that were going on. My first thoughts were of my family, and trying to place where they all were, and how I could get us all together if need be. I wasnt really sure yet what all had transpired, as the news stations were relaying different reports. I stayed near the television watching in horror for the most part of the day. And praying to God for all of Americas safety. And thanking God that my family was safe nearby. Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: It was early and I was on my way to my weekly meetings. I was up early and on my way out the door I saw what my son was watching and I honestly thought he was watching "Die Hard" (Bruce Willis action movie) and told him to change the channel. That's when I found out a plane had crashed into the WTC tower. I thought is was an isolated incident and woke my husband up to see the news. It was on my way to work that I heard on the radio of the second crash into the tower, the Pentagon, and the plane crash in Pennsylvania (still unconfirmed as to whether it was related or not). The day's activities seemed so trivial. I can remember watching TV with my coworkers and being stunned. There were no words. I called my husband and we had an unspeakable need to keep our son home from school and just huddle together, thankful we had each other. Then came the days of people waiting for family and friends that would never return. Families with pictures of men and women. The numbness of the reality took days to set in and the fear that followed, after all we weren't all that far from Oklahoma and only 2 years from the Columbine High School shootings. How much can people take. But now a year later, we are still strong, still sad and still numb. We are also a little kinder and, I hope, more aware. I don't take for granted the casual goodbyes in the morning. I tell my husband and son I love them and always take the extra 30 seconds for hugs and kisses. I never turn down the opportunity for romance -- no matter what I might be late for. My priorities have been righted by the terror. Probably not what they had in mind, but I know I am not alone in this and thier attempt to alter our lives has failed. But, while I was effected by this terror, I lost no loved ones and that pain takes years to fade and I hope in years as we read these and the pain recedes that our victory is seen. I HAVE USED THE PATH AND SUBWAY STATIONS THERE NUMEROUS TIMES, AND HAVE PASSED THROUGH THE MALL AND CONCOURSES MANY TIMES. I'VE BEEN IN THE LOBBY OF THE MARRIOT HOTEL (3 WTC), AT LEAST ONCE, THANK GOD, AS I WAS THERE TO GET PAPERWORK ON THAT HOTEL!!! THANK GOD I STILL HAVE THAT AND A FEW OTHER OLD THINGS FROM THE TRADE CENTER!!! I AM NOW FRANTICALLY TRYING TO PROCUR AS MANY WTC THINGS AS I CAN FIND, ESPECIALLY PRE-DISASTER ITEMS!!! I WENT OUT AND ABOUT TRYING TO SPREAD THE NEWS TO THOSE I KNOW, AND WAS WITH A CASEWORKER FROM A LOCAL AGENCY AT 10 A.M. WHEN WITH MY RADIO ON I HEARD THE HORRIBLE NEWS OF THE FIRST TOWER COLLAPSE!!!! OF COURSE IT WAS A SHORT TIME LATER THAT NEWS OF THE SECOND TOWER COLLAPSE WAS HEARD!!! SO LIFE CHANGED FOREVER FOR ME ON NOV. 13TH 2000, AND AGAIN ON SEPT. 11TH 2001!!! Our professor came in a few minutes late and just sat on his desk and looked at us. Then he said "I can't teach like this." None of us knew what had happened, so he told us that a plane had hit the first tower. We immediately went back to our room to turn on CNN and just as the picture came in we saw the second plane hit. None of our classes were officially cancelled, but no one went anyway. Everyone on my floor crowded into our room and sat on my bed with a box of Kleenex and watched CNN and other various news channels for most of the day. It's erie to me that even though this year I am at an entirely different school in a different state, I am in the same class at the same time as I was on September 11th 2001. But the thing I will forever remember, and something I think everyone should have heard is what an international student said as all us girls were crowded on my bed holding hands. The rest of that day we watched T.V. in my Mom's apartment discussing the events and tending to our mother. It was now the 12th of September and the events of 9-11 became even more of a reality and we mourned the death of so many.My mother had grown up in New York City and was very proud of that great heritage.It was this day that I learned that valuable lesson I spoke about at the beginning. My mother lay dying and barely able to speak,spoke a single phrase that will forever be embedded into my heart.Those words are as follows;"How sad, I lie here dying and they are destroying my city." My mother moved from New York after she wed my father- 50 years ago! Tell us your story: I had just finished my early morning class around 9:15 a.m. and I just walked into our school's chapel service held every Tuesday and Thursday. Before the service started one of our professors got on stage and told us that both twin towers and the pentagon had been hit by an airplane. Many were shocked and still, really had no idea just what was happening. Many of us speant the next 1 1/2 service in confusion and concern. I remember after service about 500 students gathered around a large screen TV in student center, watching in disbelief the tragedy that had just taken place. I was very afraid and empathetic and it was still hard for me to believe that this had happened. I spent the rest of the day in one of my friends basements watching CNN. I couldn't do anything else but stare at the TV in disbelief. I remember thinking I just wanted to know where my family was even though none of them were invoved with this tragedy. I remember feeling very grateful for my freedom that I so often took for granted wondering that if it would be taken away and wondering if we wwould be going into war. I have to say that family, friends, and God became very important to me from that point. I remember thinking how blessed we were to have such a great president who was genuinely concerned for his people. I did and still do trust his leadership. My prayers and empathy go out to all families who lost loved ones on that day and for our contry's leaders who are making daily decisions on these issues. Tell us your story: i dont think i could possibily ever forget that day. i was in school, i had just gotten out of third hour. i was walking into my schools office when i noticed everyone was tuned into what seemed to be an action movie, with airplanes, and buildings on fire, the whole package. i walked out confused, then a friend approached me, "can you believe what happend?" i had no clue what she was talking about. She further explained. "The twin towers, they were crashed into by airplanes!" hmmm...i wondered, this isnt making sense. By that time we had walked up to my group of friends, all, as usual, circled around each other talking. "I can't believe it...", "Oh my god, think about all the deaths", "who did this?" who did what?? what couldnt they believe, and what deaths were they talking about, i still wasn't understanding. finally fourth hour began, and what do you know, my US history class. The TV was on when i walked in, everyones eyes, glued to its screen. and then i saw it. I saw the real footage of two airplanes each hitting the towers. Suddenly i was overwhelmed, tears were flowing down my cheeks. first thought: osama, PLO, but i was terrified they were goign to blame it on Iran. (thats where my parents and their famil are from) so i excused myself from the class. went and called my dad in the room next door. "dad who was it?, who are they saying did this? not iran right??" i was freaking out, i thought that the world was about to end, no joke. I mean its not everyday you walk into the classroom and see two buildings turn to ashes in front of you. my father, alwayscontent and perceptive reassured me, "Rahill its fine dont worry. no honey, they arent goign to blame it on iran, this wasnt iran. just dont worry. things will happen. Pray for all those who are there right now, or have died." I cant remeber much else of the conversation, just me crying and him reassuring me each time. well anyway i went baack into the class. my teacher was in there talking with a low voice on the other phone cryng, because she was desperatly trying to get a hold of her cousins in NY who she realized worked at the trade center. I looked aroound and saw all the kids faces looking up in awe, while most girls had tears streaming down their faces. everyone was silent, all you could hear was the tv, and the impatient frightful dialing of my teacher. i remeber sitting there, and just thinking and trying to apply it to the day kennedy got shot. all my teachers had gone over that day at one point or another, and there stories all paralleled each other. all sitting in a classroom, faces gllued to the screen, everyone sad and in awe. very similar, except twenty times worse. by this poitn they were showing the clips of people jumping out of hte building. ultimatly ending their lives. damnit i wanted to kill cnn. such a horrible news channel, along withthe rest of them. They were also falsly accusing nations and groups now who they believed were behind it. and ofcourse, what do you know iran was brought up. god i was now not only incredibly frightened, dismal, and shocked, i was angry. i felt myself growing smaller and smaller, i felt ashamed of being muslim and iranain, i felt liek everyone in the class was now looking at me in vengence, i was scared. i hate ignorance, it doesnt fail me now, and it didnt fail me then. well then we went to our next class. i disnt even bother going and talking to my friends i just went straight into the next class sat at my seat, and along with a few others, in silence began to watch the tv. when the bell rang my teacher didnt even speak we just all sat their and watched. we were watching the clips over and over, until very randomly CNN decided to show a clip of palestine. the palistinain kids dancing around parading around in joy. i watched tears running profusely down my face, my eyes turning red with anger, my whole body jsut tightened up, i felt like i was about to explode. and then i did. "THIS IS FUCKING BULLSHIT" i yelled as i threw my folders of my desk got up walked over to the door opened it and slammed it behind me. i couldnt even control myself, when i got out into the hall id int even know what happend. DAMNit i thought, how could they do that! such media manipulation. look at what they are dong. those poor kids in palestine ofcousre they are goign to be happy, they dont know any better. all they know is that america is the country allowing israel to continuoly walk all over them. they are the ones giving them all the weapons that have killed their father, brothers, and family. they are only kids, they have grown up in righteous resentment of america, but people here just cant understand that. WHY did they have to show that!! did they really have to? god i was royally pissed. i just couldnt believe it. anyway i gathered my feeling together went back inside. adn my teacher, wh oby the way thinks darn is a bad word, came up to me and said "rahill are you ok?", much better than the "go to the office" i was expecting. i jsut nodded, i couldnt even get out any words. the rest of the day i was the same. the usual happy, loud, funny, spunky rahill, had left, and a sad, dismal, angered rahill was all that stayed. got home and i noticed feelings were the same. my mom was talking back tothe tv as i walked in "how the hell do they know it was arab terrorists, iran, the palestinains..." yea i agreed. though i knew it was probably an arab group still i was mad abotu the palestinian clip they showed. Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My wife and I were renting a cottage in Cape Cod for the week, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. I was the Director of Operations for the Victor-Farmington Volunteer Ambulance Corps, in Victor, NY at the time, and had assigned my deputy to manage things there while I was away. We arrived on September 9th, Sunday, and spent September 10th at Marconi beach on Cape Cod. I remember that we specifically noticed the jets coming and going over the ocean, a constant stream of traffic. When we got up on the 11th, we were preparing to go to Eastham to shop, and we got a call from our oldest daughter, who was at work when the first plane hit the WTC. She had driven home in a panic, not knowing what else to do. We immediatly turned on the TV, to see the developing story on TV. I also realized somehow that as the head of an EMS agency in New York, I and my Corps would be getting involved somehow, but couldn't imagine what we could do. I called the president of the Corps, and learned that all ambulance agencies in NY had been put on standby, and that a list of volunteers ready to travel to the WTC had been put together. I detemined that things were under control at home, and that my wife and I would continue our vacation. That day, and evening as we went to different places on Cape Cod, people had changed from the day before. We were asked, and were asking, if stranger's families were OK. People just struck up conversations, and the thirst for more news was amazing. That night, we sat at the beach, and stayed there while the sun set. It was remarkable because there were no planes in the sky, compared to the day before. We saw meteors, satellites, and it was very quiet. We went home well after dark. The next day, we went on a planned whale watch trip out of Provincetown, MA. It was fun, and we saw numerous whales. At one point on our way back to port, we started hearing jets. As it got louder, everyone stopped talking and started looking around. Suddenly, there were two fighter jets overhead. They made a slow circle around the ship in formation, and then headed southeast towards the Cape. It was a stark reminder of what had happenned. After we got home, it was only a week or so before we got the call. The FDNY had called for assistance with standby units for the Hot Zone and Ground Zero, and Ontario County's turn came up. I put together a crew of 6, including myself, and we started planning to go to New York. I had specifica criteria for making up crews. They all had to be certified EMT's, clean backgrounds, with no physical or breathing porblems. Also, they had to be mature persons, in order to obey the strict rules in place, and to bear the possible emotional burden of the job. I sent my list to the county, which sent the combined list to the State DOH to run background checks. When we were sent, we didn't know what our assignment would be. We could be at Ground zero looking for bodies, manning staging areas, or running calls in Manhatten. We simply had no idea, but had to be ready, with work gloves, respirator masks, etc. We traveled in a convoy with 5 other ambulances from the Ontario County Training facility, where we had received last minute instructions, and a few encouraging words from some Town supervisors, and we went to NYC. We arrived around 11:30PM, and went to the main staging area at Chelsea Pier. we were put into the hands of a FDNY lieutenant, who assigned us our radio, and our unit designator, 71D, or seven-one-David. We were to have two shifts, with 3 EMT's on each shift. I was on the first shift with my Tuesday night Partner from back home, and a Medic who had already been to the WTC site a couple of times before, including in the days immediately after the atrocity. The other crew had to make their way to the hospital ship USNS Comfort, which would be the off-duty location for all crews. We were sent first to South Staging. This was in Battery Park City, south of the site. On the way south, we were going down Broadway when we first saw and smelled Ground Zero. The odor of burnt metal, hot metal, plastic, wood, etc. was overpowering, as the wind was blowing it toward us, and the interesting thing is that the smell changed as one moved to different places. Mostly the smell of hot metal and electrical things, sometimes with a sulphurous component, it is something I will always remember. Although I've not smelled anything like it since, some smells can take me right back there, drivving south on Broadway, with all the traffic, noise, smoke, and floodlights. After we got to South staging, all the ambulances were in a small fenced in lot. there was a trailer there, with another FDNY lieutenant, and he told us to just stay put, relax, and wait for an assignment. Some of us realized that the Statue of Liberty should be visible from there, and we grabbed binoculars. She was quite visible, glowing green, with her golden torch. It was only the second time I had seen her, and it seemed very symbolic that she was intact, and lit up for the world to see. In fact, all of New York city was lit up, and I got no sense of a city under siege. People who weren't involved at Ground Zero went on their way, and it was very good to see this. The press coverage made it seem like NYC was shutdown, but it was very much alive and functioning. We got an assignment to go to Vesy and West around 2AM. We followed an FDNY gator over cleared roads and sidewalks, driving over a plaza at one point, and at one point we passed by a pile of destroyed ambulances. This was very sobering, as we all knew how much effort it is to keep a single working ambulance on duty, and here were dozens, just wrecked and empty. We set up right in front of the American Express building, about a half block from the temporary morgue. We were looking at the wreckage, and listening to the constant radio traffic around 3AM when suddenly the whole scene changed. We didn't know until a little later that two firefighter's bodies had been found. A priest walked into the scene, and later walked out, followed shortly by an FDNY ambulance. As it passed, everyone, including us, stood at attention, and saluted. Around 3:45AM, an FDNY officer came around and gathered everyone up and we formed an honor guard. The two fallen firefighters were brought out of the morgue, and into an FDNY ambulance. We were called to attention, and maybe 10 motorcycles roared up. They escorted the ambulance from the scene, and we were dismissed. Everyone went back to the job at hand. About 6:00 AM, we were called to do a transport. An iron worker had twisted his ankle coming off of the pile, and needed to go to the hospital. We got him in the rig, and transported BLS to St. Vincents'. After the transport and the paperwork was done, we went back to Vesey and West. It turns out we were supposed to go to staging, so we were sent to North Staging. This was three blocks from Ground Zero, and was where the trucks carring debris were coming in and out. Where we were parked, we were close enough to smell the "Ground Zero" smell from the trucks carrying steel, concrete, rebar, wires, etc. past us. We stayed at North Staging for the rest of our duty shift. After we were relieved, our second crew showed up, and we made our way to the Comfort. That was really the second part of the whole trip, which I will write about later. But, our short time at Ground Zero affected all of us who went. Being able to help out in a small way, and being part of FDNY's response was incredible. We met so many true heroes, and were able to experience firsthand the scenes that all of the world were watching. I heard that a plane had hit the World Trade Center, and they were saying it may have been an accident. Then the second plane hit, the broadcaster started screaming, and everyone in my office just stopped breathing. Tears flooded my eyes, and I felt as if I was going to pass out. My first intuition was to call my family and make sure they were ok, but I couldn't walk away from the radio. I had to see it on tv, I had to make sure this was real and not some nightmare. A couple of my co-workers and I ran to the lobby of the hospital, where CNN runs 24 hours a day. I couldn't beleive my eyes...the bulidings were on fire, debris falling, peole screaming. then I saw it live; I witnessed a human being jumping to their death. And I felt faint. Tears just poured out of my eyes. Strangers were hugging each other, crying in each others arms. WHen the first tower fell, my soul went with it. I couldn't stop thinking about everyone who parished as I was watching. I watched thousands of people die, and could'nt do anything to help. I remember going numb, and being scared that the world was going to end; the Pentagon was attacked, then the plane in Pennsylvania. What was next? On my lunch break I sat and watched CNN again, just staring into the TV screen, wanting to leave and drive to New York...help in any way I could. I watched people running for their lives, covered in dust and debris, bloody bodies on the street, reporters hiding in buildings. It all felt like a bad movie turned into reality. And all I could think of those next days after were the people who perished, whose families would never see them again, and who had to die because of someone else's ignorance. Still to this day I'm not right, Every single day I think back to that day and want to cry. I went to New York in January, and saw Ground Zero, it was almost too much for me to handle. I was standing on thousands of peoples graves. I said a prayer and asked God to look after the families that lost someone that terrible day. This past September 11th was a bad day for me, I woke in the morning to recollections of the day a year ago, saw images I was hoping to forget about, heard more stories from the families of the victims. I'm at a new job now, and this year the company president held a party to honor those who lost their lives, and the heroes who saved so many. As long as I live I will never forget September 11th, I will never be able to erase those images out of my head. I am now more greatful for family and friends, and now treat each day like it will be my last. You never know when it will be your turn. Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I was sitting in my Human Geography class, watching Ferris Bueler's Day off, when the news struck. We turned off the movie and turned on the news. We didn't really comprehend was was happening, at first we thought the plane hitting the WTC was an accident. Then the second plane hit, on national telivision we watched as america was tested to its extreams. I was shocked. A few moments later, the bell rang and the school halls were filled in seconds, however there was somthing different about that few moments in the hallway, it was quiet. The usually noisy hallway, full of clutter and chit-chat was silent. It was the silence of confusion, no one knew what was happening, but somthing hit us hard. The rest of the day was like anyone elses in the United States. Confusion soon turned into concern, concern into panic, panic into depair. Our hearts were torn at the seem, and the blood of patriotism was spilled all around. With such a devistating tradgety on our hands, i believe america emerged as a new nation, hand in hand with all races and genders alike. All those measly political issues and enviornmental uproar was silenced. Nothing has made me more proud to see the american flag posted on every overpass on the highways. America deserves one huge pat on the back, for we emerged victorious. The way 9/11 affected me the most is loosing one of my teachers. She, too, fell victim of the tradgeties, however did not loose her life. She had to drive an hour and a half each way to work, every day, for an entire school year. 9/11 affected her greatly, and she felt a sense of lonliness, when fear struck at the heart of america, she was nowhere near home. She needed to feel a sense of family, so she moved to a school closer to her home town. She was such an inspiring teacher, a great person. West Springfield misses her greatly, and thats what i think about when i think about 9/11. Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: I first learned of the attacks around 7:30 in the morning, Pacific Time, after both towers had already fallen. I was in my car on my way to work at Microsoft in Redmond, WA when the reports came over the radio that we were under attack and that the Twin Towers no longer stood. At first, I was furious at the radio station I was listening to for telling such a cruel joke. I thought that the announcers and reporters were acting out a play similar to The War Of The Worlds and I kept waiting for someone to come on and tell me where the play would be playing locally...but no such message ever came. As I got to work, I raced up to the television set in my office and turned on the Today Show, which had broken it's taped coverage and was broadcasting LIVE from New York. They showed the planes crashing and towers falling, the fires at the Pentagon and in Shanksville and reporters covered in ash tried to keep their composure as they tried to get a grip on this. Being in Washington, I felt very removed from it all, but also incredibly connected. Most people immediately left work and headed back home where they could watch the continuing reports with their families. The whole thing felt like a horrible nightmare. People in Seattle were fearful of an attack on the Space Needle or Microsoft or any sort of turmoil. We lit candles, came together in schools and parks, and held each other close. Complete strangers were as close and compassionate as old friends. Thousands of tears were shed for the victims and heroes who died and even more were shed for those who had lost loved ones and friends. I was insanely angry at those cowards who used our own openness and freedoms against us for no other reason than they didn't like us, but I took great comfort and relief in what I saw within this country. For the first time in a long time, this country came together in solidarity and unity. For the first time in a long time, we were truly the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The terrorists tried to break us and tear us into fragments of fear, but they only made us stronger, braver, and more resiliant. I'm not a religious man, but I have prayed hard for America and for what has been lost. I can only hope that we never forget what was lost and what happened to us as a people and as a country. The first thing I did was grab my 3 year old and held her to me so close and didn't let her go for a long time. She asked me what was wrong and I told her "nothing sweety I just love you so much and wanted to hold you and cuddle with you." She asked why I was crying and I said that a lot of people were hurt today and I was sad that I couldn't do anything about it. She just gave me a big hug and told me that it was alright. I will never forget that day as long as I live. My cousin was working at the Pentagon at the time and all I could think was "Oh my! Please let Eric be alright. I was so relieved to hear that he was not there at the time." Then I felt guilty because of the people who lost there loved ones and my loved one was safe. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND ALL OF IT'S AMERICAN CITIZENS! OUR LIVES HAVE BEEN CHANGED FOREVER AND WE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. I remember sitting in my class room when our principal came on with an anouncement, that the twin towers had benn just hit by a plane. We were told to turn on our tv's and we started watching what was going on. We were watching the tv when the second plane hit the second tower. I was in disbelief I could not believe what I was seeing. The whole day in school all we done was watched the tv on the attacks. As I sat and watched the tv i could not believe what was happening, and how it could be happening. My boyfriend(at the time) his mom lived in New York and was on the sidewalk on her way to work when the Towers were hit. I have everything that happened in New York that day on a video that she was recording at the time on this day. I have pictures that you wouldn't believe what they look like. She took me pictures of every thing that happened. I have every article on the september 11 attacks that i will give to my kids when they are old enough to understand. I have since been to New York and I Had been there before it all happened. And New York now looks so bare in the spot the towers once stood. we are truly blessed to have the troops in Iraq fighting for us. Tell us your story: I had picked up my sales manager Tom Johnson and Marc Hauser with Platinum Glove Inc. to make a sales call on Drive Automotive and try to close some glove business we had been working on.The news came on the radio and we decided to stop real quick at a Holiday Inn that was on route to our sales call. We watched in disbelief that this could have happened and we all thoght that it was an accident. We all saw the second plane hit. Then we realized that our country was under attack by terrorist.
