Title A name given to the resource Missing But Not Counted Description An account of the resource [pdf file, Asociación Tepeyac, November, 2002] These 24 short narratives written by Asociación Tepeyac social work staff based on their interviews with immediate family and friends, begin to tell the story about the undocumented workers who lost their lives in WTC disaster. Because of their undocumented status, some of these men and women were not counted in the official list of those missing or killed in the disaster or were not eligible for assistance from the various aid programs. These brief reports also recount how surviving family members have struggled to survive, and to find help and recognition for their loss. Some of the Asociación Tepeyacs efforts to aid the families are also noted. More than 120 students from 29 programs submitted their work.
