The details are all there. Sometimes the devil only shows part of it's face. This pic shows eyes, mouth, nose. I also have a colour pic of the devil exposing it's entire face and head from an orange burning fireball. This pic was taken in Canada a couple of years ago by a 16 year old who follows fire trucks with has camera. He caught the devil for that split second coming from a fully involved burning roof as firemen carried out operations from the exterior on the third floor (top) balcony. My point is that the devil has been captured on film before and I have the pic to prove it so there is a very high probability that your pic is not doctored in any way. If I'm looking at the correct one, I see what could be interpreted as a Devil, but it is clearly smoke. This reminds me of the whole 70's issue of subliminal advertising, you know orgies in the ice cubes. Those that are very savvy with photoshop can detect digital manipulation, so if it has been altered it will come out. Let me say for the record I have no question in my mind that it was not! Not to put you down, but given how fast it was transmitted, and the craziness of the situation( Iwas shooting the same thing from my roof top as well) who would of thought to even do this. If you did your are far craftier man than I :-). Besides at that time we still didn't know what was really happening. And why did it take so long for anyone to notice this? I have not heard any of Vin's comments, but I more than anyone knows what you are going through with him. Remember I was banned for life from the AP by him and he refused to even speak to me about it, even after an editor took total credit for the mistake. Hold your head up, as difficult as it may be in a society where you are guilty until proven innocent. May I add to the mystery? I too saw an image. In yours the face is beginning to dissipate to some extent, but what <italic>I </italic>saw was an eerily correct rendition of the George Washington portrait, the one where the figure disappears into clouds. I can still see Washington's features in your photo, though much less clearly than they originally appeared to me. I just wanted to say that I don't think it looks like the devil. I think it looks like a angel, or god mad. My mom thought it looked like the cowardly Loin from the Wizard of Oz. So I guess it is in the eyes of the beholder. It is wild how the smoke created an image. Dear Mark, Some say they have seen an angel to the right of the devil's image, or another figure. But if you look closely, you can see a distinct picture of Christ, His right hand raised just above the left horn of the devil, and His Sacred Heart exposed. To Christ's right, you can even see what appears to be his left arm near His heart, folds of His white robe, and a cincture below His heart, around the waist area. I don't know if anyone else has reported this, but at least two people in our office can make out the image. Also, I saw the image you captured in the smoke rising up from the Trade Center while watching early CBS coverage of the attack. God works in stange ways, but I think this is His way of telling us, as He told His apostles, "Fear not, for I am with you always..." Teresa L.
