Hello Stellar Images, I have seen this picture in our local newspaper.I enjoyed hearing Marks testimony on this encredable picture that he capture this devilish shot through his camera not knowing of his task.I would like to add that I see an extra face under the chin of this monster.It is more profiled than the first face.Also to me it looks as though it may have a beard.? Dear Mark, I'm not normally impressed by allegedly 'miraculous' images in clouds, tree-bark, flaking paintwork and the like, but I must admit to finding the image of satan in the smoke billowing from the WTC chilling to say the least. It recalled to mind a message which the famous Italian locutionist, Fr Stefano Gobbi, received from the Virgin Mary, which said, in part, ".......satan now thinks that he reigns over you as sure victor......" And that is the way it looked. As though Lucifer hasd ascended his throne, and was surveying his kingdom from the midst of the devastation he had wrought. It really doesn't matter whether the image was of supernatural origin or not. The symbolism was inescapable. But fortunately we also know this. Dear Mark, Some say they have seen an angel to the right of the devil's image, or another figure. But if you look closely, you can see a distinct picture of Christ, His right hand raised just above the left horn of the devil, and His Sacred Heart exposed. To Christ's right, you can even see what appears to be his left arm near His heart, folds of His white robe, and a cincture below His heart, around the waist area. I don't know if anyone else has reported this, but at least two people in our office can make out the image. Also, I saw the image you captured in the smoke rising up from the Trade Center while watching early CBS coverage of the attack. God works in stange ways, but I think this is His way of telling us, as He told His apostles, "Fear not, for I am with you always..." Teresa L.
