John, I can see the whole thing from my office window, my majestic view of
new york is a nightmare. We are so overwhelmed, stressed, and beyond busy.
As a national disaster, it is beyond words. On a personal level, we all know
people who work in that building. We are trying very hard to hold on to our
composure.

I would like to pass on this quote that was sent to me by a friend… it applies to all those who hate, whether they are bin Laden and the Taliban, or Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson:
"What is objectionable, what is dangerous, about extremists
is not that they are extreme, but that they are intolerant. The evil is not
what they say about their cause, but what they say about their opponents."

Robert Kennedy

In order for all of us who are mourning innocent lives not to be intolerant in our reaction to this horror, it is very important that every American read the following essay... We have so much to learn about Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Taliban, and bin Laden. I, for one, know so little… we must not commit to military action, or any action that will result in the loss of lives, without the knowledge and understanding that are available to us in our great democratic nation. Only then can we make a decision born out of wisdom and true strength

Subject: FW: A view from Afghanistan
A sobering essay forwarded by a UC Berkeley professor:

Dear Friends,

The following was sent to me by my friend X. X is an Afghani-American writer. He is also one of the most brilliant people I know in this life. When he writes, I read. When he talks, I listen. Here is his take on Afghanistan and the whole mess we are in.
Gary T.

Dear Gary and whoever else is on this email thread:

I've been hearing a lot of talk about "bombing Afghanistan back to the Stone Age." Ronn Owens, on KGO Talk Radio today, allowed that this would mean killing innocent people, people who had nothing to do with this atrocity,
but "we're at war, we have to accept collateral damage. What else can we do?" Minutes later I heard some TV pundit discussing whether we "have the
belly to do what must be done." And I thought about the issues being raised
especially hard because I am from Afghanistan, and even though I've lived
here for 35 years I've never lost track of what's going on there. So I want
to tell anyone who will listen how it all looks from where I'm standing.

I speak as one who hates the Taliban and Osama Bin Laden. There is no doubt in my mind that these people were responsible for the atrocity in New York. I agree that something must be done about those monsters.

But the Taliban and Ben Laden are not Afghanistan. They're not even
the government of Afghanistan. The Taliban are a cult of ignorant
psychotics who took over Afghanistan in 1997. Bin Laden is a political criminal
with a plan. When you think Taliban, think Nazis. When you think Bin Laden, think Hitler. And when you think "the people of Afghanistan" think "the Jews in the concentration camps." It's not only that the Afghan people had nothing to do with this atrocity. They were the first victims of the perpetrators. They would exult if someone would come in there, take out the Taliban and clear out the rats nest of international thugs holed up in their country.

Some say, why don't the Afghans rise up and overthrow the Taliban? The
answer is, they're starved, exhausted, hurt, incapacitated, suffering.
A few years ago, the United Nations estimated that there are 500,000 disabled orphans in Afghanistan--a country with no economy, no food. There and millions of widows. And the Taliban has been burying these widows alive in mass graves. The soil is littered with land mines, the farms were all destroyed by the Soviets. These are a few of the reasons why the Afghan people have not overthrown the Taliban.

We come now to the question of bombing Afghanistan back to the Stone Age. Trouble is, that's been done. The Soviets took care of it already. Make the Afghans suffer? They're already suffering. Level their houses? Done. Turn their schools into piles of rubble? Done. Eradicate their hospitals? Done. Destroy their infrastructure? Cut them off from medicine and health care? Too late. Someone already did all that.

New bombs would only stir the rubble of earlier bombs. Would they at least
get the Taliban? Not likely. In today's Afghanistan, only the Taliban eat,
only they have the means to move around. They'd slip away
and hide. Maybe the bombs would get some of those disabled orphans, they
don't move too fast, they don't even have wheelchairs. But flying over
Kabua and dropping bombs wouldn't really be a strike against the criminals
who did this horrific thing. Actually it would only be making common cause with the Taliban--by raping once again the people they've been raping all this
time .

So what else is there? What can be done, then? Let me now speak with true fear and trembling. The only way to get Bin Laden is to go in there with
ground troops. When people speak of "having the belly to do what needs to be done" they're thinking in terms of having the belly to kill as many as needed. Having the belly to overcome any moral qualms about killing innocent people. Let's pull our heads out of the sand. What's actually on the table is Americans dying. And not just because some Americans would die fighting their way through Afghanistan to Bin Laden's hideout. It's much bigger than that folks. Because to get any troops to Afghanistan, we'd have to go through Pakistan. Would they let us? Not likely. The conquest of Pakistan would have to be first. Will other Muslim nations just stand by? You see where I'm going. We're flirting with a world war between Islam and the West.

And guess what:. That's Bin Laden's program. That's exactly what he wants.
That's why he did this. Read his speeches and statements. It's all right
there. He really believes Islam would beat the west. It might seem
ridiculous, but he figures if he can polarize the world into Islam and the
West, he's got a billion soldiers. If the west wreaks a holocaust in those
lands, that's a billion people with nothing left to lose, that's even
better from Bin Laden's point of view. He's probably wrong, in the end the west would win, whatever that would mean, but the war would last for years and millions would die, not just theirs but ours. Who has the belly for that? Bin Laden does. Anyone else?

- X

<text>It is snowing office paper all over Brooklyn and Manhattan.

The relics of people's workday--the 50,000 people who worked in the World Trade Center.

Everyone in Manhattan who was outside is covered in grey ash. There are 2-3 inches of ash filling the streets.

The plane that crashed outside of Pittsburgh was a hijacked 767--I assume the pilot realized what was happening, and chose to crash in the countryside rather than let his plane be used as a bomb. All of downtown Pittsburgh was evacuated, and that's where I work. I walked home.

Cell phones don't work because everyone is on them, the networks are at capacity. It is impossible to get a phonecall through to anywhere in the New York area.

My sister-in-law's brother saw the World Trade Center collapse from the roof of his Manhattan office building. He is trapped at work, probably overnight, since obviously there is no transportation.

Dear Friends:

A great tragedy has befallen our nation. A catastrophe that leaves none of
our lives untouched. Many innocent lives were lost due to a senseless act of
terror and violence. Although this horrific event may outrage many, and
rightly so, it cannot be justified or corrected through more violence.
Another senseless act in retaliation will not repair the damage done, nor
bring back those who were lost. It will only perpetuate a violent, barbaric
cycle fueled by hatred and ignorance. The perpetrators of these crimes must
be caught and brought to justice, but without the continued loss of innocent
life.

--------------------------------------------
President Bush,

We the undersigned encourage you to take responsible, peaceful action in
bringing the terrorists to justice. Please seriously consider the negative
ramifications of continued killing and perpetuating the cycle of violence.
Although many lives have already been lost, MANY MORE CAN STILL BE SAVED.

THANK GOD! Needless to say, I was confident that you could handle yourself
and be okay, but I'm still a father. Although they may be victorious today,
as were the Japanese at Pearl Harbor, they have underestimated the wrath of
the "sleeping giant". Osama Bin Ladin and the terrorist movement will be history! Much love, Dad. (Thanks for having Suzanne call David)

Subject: Day of Remembrance

Dear, dear friends,
I am watching almost the whole day tv concerning the tragedy happened to your Country. I hardly can stop my tears, because we also suffer so much with all the victims of these very very terrible attacks.
I had most of the time CNN live switched on and so I heard the interviews with Joschka Fischer, the Mayor of NY and the senators of New York, including Mrs. Clinton.
In a few minutes I want to see the ceremony (prayer service) in the cathedral of Washington. How wonderful to see all your big former leaders together shoulder to shoulder in the church. Also this time 5:30 p.m. I listen to the ceremony which takes place infront of 200 000 people infront of the BRANDENBURGER TOR in Berlin. I wish I could be with you this time, really, and always are my thoughts with you and your folks. Do you remember how I felt, when we were on events in Calif. in 1974 together and they startet the performances in Circus, cinema, etc. with your National anthem. I always told you "I feel like an American"and so do I and my husband, too.
All the churches in Germany give prayer services tonight, and also our beautiful church in Muensterdorf (do you remember the place?) at 7.30 p.m. and of course I will go in honor of the victims .
this moment I am listining to the Gospel song amaizing grace in Berlin live.
Now I will turn the Channel CNN to attend to that ceremony.
Love for always and in big, big sadness and tristesse,
your friend always, Gitta and Uwe

<text>It is months since that dark day and being somewhat of a new york city person, even if I live in jersey it still hurts.
That day I was in the little post office in WANAQUE N.J. when we heard the report that a plane crashed into the world trade center. We were thinking of just an accident nothing more. Then a live report over the radio told of the second plane hitting the second tower, that's when we knew we were under attack.
One of my friends at the post office was in a panic cause his daughter worked there.I was in a panic cause my lady friend worked only 2 blocks away.
Thank god they both are well and fine.
I rushed home to throw in a tape on the vcr and my tape player with a radio.
That morning to hear that the towers came down ,to hear the attack in washington and the crash in pennsyvania left a feeling of utter sadness.
That night a friend was on call to go into the city to pick up nurses to bring them back to jersey and I went with him.
That sight was not the new york city that I knew.
Wew york city was wounded.
I was able that night also to talk on the phone to my lady friend.
She had to run from the first tower when it came down.
We cried for the victims and cried for our nation.
We have been to ground zero twice, the first time was about 2 weeks after the attack. To look at what happen on that morning up close made us sick.
There was 2 towers but you know seeing it in front of your eyes that you were looking at a mother ,a father, a son and daugther who died for no reason.
I wanted to fine someone alive, I want to bring hope to someone
I still feel that pain many months later..
Many say this is the second pearl harbor and I AGREE.but I was not born in 41 and pearl harbor we knew the enemy and we beat them, sometimes I wonder will we beat the hidden enemy we face now.
My prayers go to the innocene who pasted away on sept 11 and prayers go to making a peaceful world</text>

Who knows how long it may be before you even read this - I have been
watching the devastation in NYC all day and I cannot even fathom what it
would be like to actually be there. Please write back to me as soon as you
can so I know you are okay - Love, Ally

Hi Jen -

We just heard the tragic news about the attacks in New York and Washington. It is almost unbelievable to think that we may be safer here in China than you in the U.S. The Chinese television stations are now covering the tragic
events. Mark and I checked to see how many people were killed at Pearl Harbor in 1941 - only 2,403. I can't believe that I am saying ONLY! We will continue to watch TV and pick up what we can as well as log onto the
Internet frequently for current updates. How could this happen to America? What happened to our sense of national security today is unimaginable. I never thought that something like this could happen to us. The horror of
the news stories and quotations from victims tell it all. We will keep all Americans in our thoughts and prayers. Mark plans to call the American embassy in China this afternoon to ask if we need to take any precautions.
We just registered at the embassy last week. I think that we should be fine, unless China supports the terrorists for any reason. Not likely.

What is the reaction of the people in China to this news? Unlike in the U.S., this tragedy has barely penetrated the country. Classes were held as usual today. Many students did not even know that this had happened. A few guys in my class were taking about the attacks today as if they were a
movie. One of them says to the other - "Did you hear about the plane crash into the building in NY?" - and then they both start laughing. They are both Korean. I do not think they have any idea how this event will impact the future of the world.

Please keep us posted about any news about the tragedy that you don't think would be easily accessible here.

Take care -
Molly

Hi Molly.

I thought about emailing you yesterday as all this was happening, but I had no idea how I would begin to write about this..... Needless to say, the entire country is in shock and mourning. I first heard news about it in the car, about a block from my parking lot. A woman came onto the radio in between songs and said that a plane or missle had just hit the World Trade Center. Then another song.....

At first it didn't hit me, then I switched to another radio station and they told me the same thing, with some more details.... I got up to the office and tried to log onto cnn or npr....both sites were overloaded with web traffic and I couldn't get anything. As people started arriving
at the office, each one knew a little more.... then one guy set up a little tv in the conference room. We watched in disbelief as the second plane hit, as the pentagon was struck, and then as the two towers fell..... All day I received calls (mostly from Alan, at home watching the news) and emails with updates -- many of them false rumors. I heard that San Francisco and Chicago had been hit, that LA airport had a bomb, that more planes were missing and assumed hijacked.... those all turned out to be untrue (except, of course, for the plane that did go down in Pennsylvania).

I called my brother in Brooklyn at about 9am - he was in a panic. His girlfriend's mother had called him as he was walking out the door to work -- just after the first plane hit. He was about to leave for his office in Manhatten, located about 2 miles from the WTC - within site of his window. He was home listening to the TV (the picture wasn't working) and watching smoke and debris fill the sky. His girlfriend was in lockdown at the school where she teaches. I called again last night and everyone is ok. Emily's school is closed today as is Adam's office.

My dad was sent home from the Colorado Springs airport when all flights in the US and Cananda were suspended. They may start flying again today, but no announcements have been made about that.

My cousin was in Cape Cod and was supposed to fly out of Boston yesterday afternoon - he's now stranded in Rhode Island.

Walt Disney World was evacuated yesterday and major league baseball games were cancelled for the first time since D-day. Wall Street is closed indefinately.

Here in Indy, things are affected as well.... the mall was closed yestedray and the city-county office buildings and federal building were evacuated. We didn't have trash pickup because the trucks were being used to surround the state building as a part of a barricade. All evening events
at the schools were cancelled. I went to the blood bank after work (5:15pm) and they gave me a number. My number wasn't called until 10:30pm - I got home about 11:30pm after making my donation there. People are even panicking about gas -- gas prices shot up to $4-5 a gallon in some of our suburbs and lines were 30-40 cars deep at the pumps.

The numbers of people hurt and killed are not being reported yet. It sounds like it will be substantially more than Pearl Harbor though (I didn't know that number - it does sound small now, doesn't it?). It is hard to believe that an entire building has dissapeared from the NY skyline.... My family was just there over Memorial Day weekend.... Never again...

The WTO-IMF conference is supposed to be here in the near future, as is a UN conference. They are talking about postpoing those or moving them to other locations. Speculation is on Osama Bin-Laden, but we are all trying to be careful about not jumping to conclusions.

A car was seized in the Boston Airport though, reportedly inside was a pilot training manual in Arabic and pictures of Bin-Laden... seems like a pretty safe assumption...

We're all glued to our tv sets in this country.... hoping that the worst is over and waiting to hear how Bush will exact our revenge. I think most people are quietly very angry.... we will unite and we will fight too....

Hope that gives you some idea of life in the states yesterday. If you can get on cnn.com, you should be able to get all the news that we do.

I'll keep in touch.
Well, suppose I should be getting to work now - especially since nothing got accomplished yesterday......

Hope you both have a good day. I'll be in touch. Hopefully things will begin to return to normal around here soon....

Love
Jennie

Hello Jen,

Thank you for all the information. It is nice to hear more of an inside perspective regarding the past few days. We are getting information here, but it is in Chinese. We are able to log onto some websites, but others like cnn.com are blocked by the Chinese government.

Glad to hear that all of your family is safe. Mark's cousin is in New York for training. He is a stock broker. He toured the World Trade Center on Monday - if it had been Tuesday, he may have been dead. He feels extremely blessed to be alive today!

In some ways, I wish that I were home to "mourn" with other Americans. My mom said that they held a prayer service on Tuesday evening at St.Bridget's. I have a feeling that the number of people dead will be staggering. No doubt this event has and will continue to affect the nation like no other. I only hope that our retaliation against whoever will be determined by the best decision makers. There is no room for errors or second chances.

Please keep us posted as you hear more news. The personal accounts of reaction to the events are also helpful and enable us to understand what is really happening at home.

Take care. Lots of love to you and Al,
Molly

Molly -

Things _are_ slowly returning to some semblance of normal around here. We all still are watching a lot of news and logging onto the CNN and NY Times sites often. My dad's company (Allstate) has put a ban on airline travel for the next week or so, so he has a nice break from his usual trips (he is gone probably 45 weeks a year on business!). My mom is flying in for a weekend visit at the end of this month. Neither of them are nervous about getting back on planes - hopefully the security is tight enough now to prevent further attacks. Everyone is still on high alert though....

The security at airports is now such that they suggest you get there 2 hours early for domestic flights!! They are confiscating any and all types of knives (incl. swiss army), wine openers, nail scissors, aerosol cans (shaving cream), and anything else that might possibly be used as a weapon. People are a bit on edge and will be for some time.

The nature of hijacking will never be the same. Before this, if a plane was hijacked, the passengers might think that they were going to circle around for awhile while the hijackers demanded money or for someone to be released from jail. Eventually, it was likely that they would be safely released.

That fourth flight - the one from Newark that crashed in PA - was probably the first time that the passengers being hijacked actually knew that their fate was sealed. It was thru cell phones that the passengers learned about the WTC and Pentagon crashes. They called their loved ones, said good-bye, and told them that they were about to resist the hijackers. We'll never know where that plane was meant to crash - who knows what devastation was next had the passengers had not fought. It really is amazing.
The stories coming out of that flight will break your heart and give you tremendous hope at the same time.

Anyway....I was talking about getting back to normal....

The day to day activities of life are returning to normal. We're working every day and attending meetings both in and out of work, getting haircuts, making doctors appointments, celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.... but at the same time we can't help feeling a little guilty doing that, because they are still working 24 hours a day to sift through the crash sites and the hope is still there that maybe somewhere deep in that pile of debris, someone is still alive.... so our flags are still at half mast or draped on nearly every house. Many candles burn on doorsteps and sidewalks....and we still talk about it with nearly everyone we meet.

Did I tell you that we went to mass Sat. evening - Alan and I, and his mom, brother, and brother's fiance?? We sang Amazing Grace and sobbed. The closing song was America the Beautiful. I even braved being struck by lightening and joined the Pyrz family for communion in the Catholic church. :-) I'm sure every church around the country had similar hyms in their services. It was very healing.

M.L. Baseball started again on Monday. Instead of the traditional "take me out to the ballgame" at the seventh inning stretch, the crowd sang America the Beautiful (or was it God Bless America? not sure...) and then chanted "U-S-A"...Many spectators waved flags, were wearing NYPD or NY fire dept. hats., or held signs with patriotic messages. It was a nice outward display of "we won't forget but we also won't let you bully us."

Oh well.... nothing much else comes to mind to email about right now. I'm sure I will be in touch again in a day or two. Until then, hope you're having fun! Give my love to Mark and enjoy your day!!

Love

Subject: I'm ok

Hi there,

I just wanted to write and check-in that I'm ok. For the last 5 months I've

been working for NexxtHealth, a subsidiary of Empire BCBS, on the 19th floor

of 1 WTC. *Fortunately* I was late for work yesterday and on a bus heading
downtown when the first plane hit. I got off the bus and then saw the rest
from a location in Chinatown, a safe distance away. i am still in shock and

utter disbelief over this!

>From what I've heard, most NexxtHealth staff have checked in and were able
to evacuate in time, but I'm not sure about my friends/coworkers who are
Empire employees.

I hope you all were far away from downtown yesterday and are doing as well
as can be. If someone could pass this on to the list of EZ bostoners, I
would appreciate it.

Kristin

Hey guys,
I just wanted to pass the word that Vicky Yancey was onboard the plane that
hit the Pentagon yesterday. I think all of you worked at Vredenburg when
she was here, and would want to know.

Subject: Hi everyone

Hi all,

I know I've spoken with you all some over the last few days. I just wanted
to let everyone know how things are going here in DC.

On Tuesday, I arrived at work with folks in the elevator talking about a
plane hitting the world trade center in New York. 20 minutes later, I
turned on a TV here in the office and saw the Pentagon had been hit. Our
office is only 3 blocks from the White House and 3 miles from the Pentagon.
We were shortly ordered to go home and not use the metro (our subway). Sara
and I had to walk 3-4 miles home, passing people standing confused outside
their buildings, walking everywhere, gridlocked traffic, etc. Needless to
say, I was very frightened so we got home, got into my car and headed out of
town. Sara and I drove about 150 miles out of town to a beach town, Ocean
City, where we stayed overnight. Our office was open yesterday, so we got
back in after returning and tried to get back to our normal routines. I am
still very jittery and jumpy and really dont' want to be here in DC. Every
so often, you can hear the F-16 jets screeching overhead and there is a
military vehicle on almost every corner. I saw a jet trail in the sky last
night and my first thought was "there aren't supposed to be any planes!!!".
I have refused to take the metro.

My worries, my work, my concerns however seem to be completely irrelevant
and insignificant due to what has happened. I talk to my volunteers about
campaign work we're doing and I think "this is SO unimportant". I have a
cousin, Scott Mason, who was only one block away from the WTC. He is safe,
made it home after walking across Manhattan, and over to Brooklyn before he
was able to catch a working train to get home on Long Island. I have two
other friends who worked in the area. One IN the WTC who saw the second
plane crash and people jumping from the building. Another said she had to
"run for her life" down the streets as the buildings fell.

My thoughts continue to return to the victims of these horrible acts.

However, Sara and I are still packing, getting ready for our move this
weekend. I have two plane trips scheduled during the rest of the month. We
will have to see if those will be possible and/if I am physically able to
get onto a plane.

Luckily, it appears that the HRC family is safe and sound. We still have
several staff stranded throughout the nation, and I hope they will get home
safe and sound over the next day or two. One of our donors ($1200 level,
which is called the Federal Club) was a pilot of the plane that hit the
Pentagon.

My thoughts return to all of you as well. Be safe, and I hope all of your
family and friends are safe as well.

Love,
Dyana

As you've probably heard by now (you know more than I do), the twin towers

I am safe, but you will not be able to reach me on the phone. You can try

I will call when I can. Manhattan is a disaster right now.

              <text>Hi Nancy,

I'm ok and so is Dan. I was walking the dogs this morning and saw the first plane fly straight into the World Trade center bldg. It was awful to see this in person. Dan's office is next door to where the World Trade Center bldgs stood and we don't know if its still there. Luckily he goes to work late. He had just gotten out of the shower when this happened. Everyone is walking around the streets and sirens are blaring. Its easier for me to watch this on TV. When I go outside I get scared.

Anyway. I hope you're all doing well and say hi to your family and the babies for me. I'm glad I have your prayers.

In a message dated 9/11/01 11:01:48 AM,
Please let me know that you're OK by responding to
this message or calling me in San Francisco at my
brother's cell

I hope you're OK & I'm praying for you.

Love,

In a court action with wide-ranging implications, a watchdog group has
filed a motion in U.S. District Court asking to intervene in the case of
a U.S.-born Saudi Arabian Taliban fighter. The non-profit group of
attorneys and immigration experts, Friends of Immigration Law
Enforcement (FILE), argues that the captured fighter, Yaser Esam Hamdi,
is not a U.S. citizen despite his Louisiana birth.

Judge Robert G. Doumar, who is presiding in the case, must now decide
whether to allow FILE to make the argument in court that Hamdi's birth
to Saudi nationals in the United States on temporary work visas does not
grant Hamdi automatic U.S. citizenship.

According to the group, the Citizenship Clause of the Fourteenth
Amendment does not mandate the current practice of granting "birthright
citizenship" to children born on U.S. soil to temporary workers, illegal
immigrants, and tourists. Nor does case law support the custom.

"The situation we have today is absurd," charges FILE's director, Craig
Nelsen. "For example, there is a huge and growing industry in Asia that
arranges tourist visas for pregnant women so they can fly to the United
States and give birth to an American. Obviously, this was not the
intent of the Fourteenth Amendment; it makes a mockery of citizenship."

In an August 16 letter to Solicitor General Ted Olson, whose office is
handling the case, the group asked the Justice Department to declare
Hamdi a Saudi national, asserting that he is "not an American in any
real sense of the word." The letter argued that Hamdi's case -- already
likely to end up in the Supreme Court -- provides a "historic and
excellent opportunity...to address the true meaning and intent of the
Citizenship Clause."

The August 21 motion, filed by the group under Rule 42 of the Federal
Rules of Civil Procedure, asks the court to allow the group to intervene
on the side of the defendant, U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald
Rumsfeld.

"We have raised serious legal points in our complaint, and feel
confident Judge Doumar will grant the motion," says the group.

But Frank W. Dunham Jr., Yaser Hamdi's federal public defender,
disagrees, telling one reporter that FILE's motion has no chance
because, "If the baby is born here, nobody in this day and age
challenges that the person isn't a citizen.'' Dunham offered no legal
argument, but did say, "This is the land of the free and the home of the
brave.''

+== TAKE POSITIVE ACTION ==+

Some Americans speak of birthright citizenship as if it were an
immutable law of nature. It is not. It is only a bad habit that could
be broken with a simple Executive Order.

According to estimates, some 200,000 so-called anchor babies are born in
the United States every year. In a world of frightening new demographic
realities, it is vital that we end the foolish custom of granting
birthright citizenship to any child that happens to be born here.

Please call the Attorney General's office and politely let it know that
you are one of the many Americans concerned about the integrity of U.S.
citizenship. Leave a message saying you are outraged that Yaser Hamdi
is deemed a U.S. citizen. Mention it is time the United States end the
absurd, needless, and dangerous practice of granting birthright
citizenship to the children of illegal aliens, temporary workers, and
tourists.

As a NYC Police Officer, I can tell you this. The best way to guarantee
total security on American soil is to stop immigration and institute a
policy of massive deportation. Remember, if you are not an American
citizen then you are not guaranteed any rights under our constitution.
