I felt it fitting to play around with the scroll the angel is holding and honour the many that lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Of course I didn't have much time to play around with it on my lunch break so the print's a little sloppy but I still wanted to add it. I added another picture of the guys carrying the float because it also seemed fitting. Although I'm Canadian, I was still affected and my heart goes out to all who lost loved ones.]]></dcterms:description>

I don't remember what street I was looking down but it was about Rector St. My sister worked in the first building on the left. I had gone to NYC because of the 9-11 attack to visit with my sister and her family. On Sept. 11, 2001, I was at home in CO. That morning I woke to the news on the radio. Thinking it was some kind of joke I turned on the TV to the image of the second plane slamming into the tower. Knowing my sister worked just a few short blocks from the trade center and did banking and other business in the buildings, I immediatly started to make phone calls to NYC. Finally, my brother in law got a call to me. She was ok and had not gone to work on Sept. 11, 2001.]]></dcterms:description>

<dcterms:description><![CDATA[I took this picture when I was in NYC for a business meeting. We had extra time and it was the first time my friend had been to New York so we went to the Statue of Liberty. As we were walking up back north from Battery Park, I looked up as we passed a Church. I saw a beautiful image of the towers with the church in the fore ground.. It was an amazing image and I had to get a pic of it. I bought a disposible camara from a near by stand and took the picture. I took the camara home and forgot about it until 9/11. I developed the film on 9/12 and this is the image I took. It made me weep and I want the world to see the beauty many of us got to see and the world will truly miss. Thank you]]></dcterms:description>
