<dcterms:description>Hello:

Im sending this to you because a friend of mine suggested finding a group that is collecting mementos of the 9/11 disaster.

Ive told this story to countless people. I live in the San Diego, CA area and Im a public school English teacher. I awoke to the news on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001 and could not believe what I was seeing on the television. My commute included a long drive (approx. 30 miles) to work, and I listened to news with a sense of increasing horror. I knew it would be a day at school like no other, and I anticipated a need for extra calories, so I stopped a convenience store and this was the receipt for my purchase.

I am not a religious fanatic, and although I do believe in God, I am not a member of any church or religious group. I am not a believer in numerology. Although I am proficient in the use of computer graphics, this is an actual image of the receipt. Aside from its enlargement, it has not been altered or enhanced in any way. The recurrence of the 9s and 1s (in addition to the amount of my purchase) is uncanny. The store is still located at the address stamped on the receipt. The date and time of my purchase is also stamped on the receipt. The time may be weirdly significant in that it is also a common type of passenger airplane.

I dont know exactly what niche this may find in what must be a tremendously large collection, but I felt compelled to submit it anyway.</dcterms:description>
