New York City firefighters gave the flag to Navy Sea Bees weeks earlier in case the construction battalion was sent to Afghanistan. The sailors were brought in to help construct various facilities in the desert airstrip Marines have been operating out of since the 15th MEU (SOC) seized it Nov. 25.]]></dcterms:description>
