In the immediate aftermath of the 9/11, attacks people created impromptu shrines and held candlelight vigils throughout the nation's capital. This is one of the shrines that popped up over night. The images that I have been allowed to display here are but a flash of the endless picture. The events of September 11, 2001, have touched the world and all generations to come.

Tears will fall not just for our loss or the scar inflected on Liberty, tears will pour to embrace all the kindness and love, which has come forth in our time of need. Let the endless tidal wave of tears flow to wash away their hate and our pain!
