I know you have received many e-mails, but I just wanted to commend you on your excellent photographic work. Like the rest of the world, I stood in horror as I saw those incredible twin towers burn. I appreciate the hard work of photographers like you who bring this news up close to us in Charlotte, North Carolina. The face in the smoke is indeed creepy. I just want to assure you that although I do not doubt that this whole plan was totally evil and demonic in it's origin, I know that God is in control. He is a wonderful, loving God that sent His son Jesus to die for our sins so we could have the assurance of Heaven when our time on earth is done. If you do not know Him as Lord of your life, I invite you to ask Jesus into your heart to live. Not only will you have the assurance of Heaven when you die, He will give you a peace and a sense of being fulfilled that you cannot imagine or even describe. To Mr.Mark Phillips I saw the pictures of the World Trade Center that you took on Sept.11,2001 as the rest of us looked on in horror. I can plainly see the Devil in the smoke from the building. I was recently approached by a group of Professional Firefighters in Spartanburg about generating a fundraiser for the victims & surviving family members of the WTC attack. The firemen would like for me to weave a throw/blanket with your photograph on it. I have watched clouds on a quiet day by myself and made all kinds of images out of them. I am 43, and every war or conflict that I can remember or have experienced someone is always trying to make something Biblical out of it. Every incident has been "the end of time". I don't think any of us know the what, why, when, or how. This could be real or simply chemical effective. Who knows.
