Another sad day.
Dear 911 Fund,
I am writing to convey my deepest disappointment, anger and utter
disbelief with your decision to ban gay & lesbian Americans from
receiving the benefits of this fund. I can say nothing more than
this rule marks another sad day for this country. Period. Whoever
endorsed such a prejudiced idea should know that it most certainly
does not represent the interests of those who contributed to this
fund, nor does it speak of a compassionate nation. This is the first
shame I have experienced about our country's actions surrounding 9/11.
