Eagle.jpg
This is a wallpaper sent to me soon after 9/11/01. I don't know who created this, but it is very beautiful. The eagle's tears seem to sum up what we were feeling during those horrible dark days following 9/11.

futuretowers.jpg
Although not tasteful, this image of a proposed design of the "Future Towers" i.e. giving "the finger", which blazed to private e-mails around the country embodied some of the true feelings of the time.

libertyfinger.jpg
Although not tasteful, this image of the Statue of Liberty giving "the finger" which blazed to private e-mails around the country embodied some of the true feelings of the time.

Wtceaglecrying.jpg
This is a wallpaper that was sent to me a few days after the fall of the WTC

Enough said.

USAWALLPAPER1.JPG
another one of my several wallpapers for 9/11. This one has a picture of the American Bald Eagle, and the amazing article written by Leonard Pitts Jr to the right. Notice the 'dont treat on me' phrase as well on the left. ernie@ernie.tk

The imortalls.jpg
I thought they deserved to be amongthe emmortals.

usbleeds800600.jpg
Another one of my wallpapers here. Using some images I found of people from around the world, I made this little wallpaper. It's in 800x600, tell me what you think, daverujr@cox.net

MSDOSBeamer800600.jpg
This is one of a few wallpapers I created. The wallpaper looks like it is a MSDOS prompt, as if the user was running a little script/program called "Hero". I felt obligated to do this for flight 93. This file is in 800x600 resolution, but if…

9_11.jpg
9/11 was my response to the tragedy, like so many felt compelled to express themselves in reaction. Some people displayed flags, place memorial flowers, said prayers, but being an artist I created this collage.

I started with real Afghanistan…

LarsenSmall.jpg
As a Graphicd Designer who is also a member of the Military; I felt compelled to creat an image that showed our resolve in the wake of this cowardly act.

IMOPATRICKO'KEEFE.jpg
My Uncle John's daughter-in-law lost her brother. To me Patrick was a hero as well as a distant family member, so I created this window poster for my family to display in his honor. I was touched when this was made into a plaque and given to his son.…

Twins.jpg
I use my iPAQ organizer as a sketchbook for some of my drawings. This is what I came up with after 9/11.

September-2001-and-Iwo-1945-Heros.jpg
I was born in NYC, and my Uncles fought on Iwo Jima, and I felt that the flag-raisers both had similar meanings -- both images merged in my mind, and so I created this image.

Shifren2ndplane.jpg
I thought how the second plane ,must have passed over the statue of liberty, and the juxtaposition of that image had power for me. found an image of the harbor, found a picture of the same type of plane and did the smoking first tower from another…

Flag.jpg
My image is a double exposure of a national cemetary exposed over the entire American flag.

KLew_10013.jpg
In the aftermath of 9/11, I felt anxiety and violation that my neighborhood was deeply affected by the disaster. It was eerie walking down the vacant streets of Mott, Bayard, and Canal; officers and sirens in the near distance, turning the…

CollageFirefighter.jpg
I made this of a picture I took myself of the WTC and added one of the attack. I don't know who the firefighter is -if anyone knows, please let meknow - but the look on his face has haunted me ever since. I hope he survived!
