| Annotation: | Two graphic designers, Mindy Kombert and Sherry Kromenfeld founded this unique project as a permanent memorial to the victims of September 11th. The flag of remembrance will be created by transforming photographs of each victim in tones of red, white, and blue, to pieces of fabric and will be sewn together into a 20 foot by 30 foot flag. Each victim’s name and age will be included. The site includes information on the project’s progress, a letter to the families of victims asking for photographs, along with the specifications of how to send them and what to send. The site includes links to websites that include stories about the project. |
