| Annotation: | This project is sponsored by the Flux Factory, which is a not for profit arts organization in Brooklyn. The site includes links to two stories explaining the project. One is a Newsday story written by Hugo Kugiya, and the other is an article by Patrick Healy in the Boston globe. The site is put together by Sally Herships, a freelance web designer, illustrator, and teacher, along with Laura Dotterer, Yamila Fournier, and John Lawson, all freelance photographers. They have put together oral histories and photographs in an archive of over 100 entries. The site is only partially finished with the participants listed in alphabetical order, but very few stories are posted with only slightly more photographs. The interviews took place in Union Square in New York City with Herships asking the initial question of where were you when the attack occurred and each interview took approximately 15 minutes. |
